some leg pads, since my old ones were developing a crack in them. can't say i like them too much, they're bigger than my old ones and tough to move around in.

A visor, after playing a few games without my metal cage that comes w/ the helmet, i realized that i can see the rink much better...i'm terrified of my face being totally unprotected though.

Did you go to the KO Sports sale over the weekend? I'm interested to know your thoughts on the 3k shins, I'm due for a new pair. I'm not a fan of the Stealth gloves, I prefer a 4-roll style like the Synergies. They're still nice gloves though. Love my TPS R6s, and I got them for about the price of S5s. I wish I could find another pair that cheap again.

Is all that for ice or roller?

I usually get a lot of my stuff from hockeygiant.com, but I just went to Dunham's because I needed the gloves ASAP.

I just finished up my second game on the new shin pads tonight, and even though they're bigger than the shin pads I am used to having, I still had a pretty good range of motion. One pad shifted off to the side a bit during play, but only once. Also, I didn't tape up very well as I was a bit late showing up to the game tonight, so that could have caused a bit of the shifting as well.

Right now I'm playing both with a bit more roller hockey. Once winter hits, I'll probably be almost exclusively ice.

Wierdly it was actually cheaper to buy a physical copy than download it.

I also bought a few other songs off Amazon MP3.

*awesome fence/wall pic*
:D

More pics in my flickr. Link in sig

Ahhhh nice fence daan! Very pleased for you.
My coach had a fence like that but he got rid of it because it was costing far too much for fence fuel(?)
:P

My first pair of real Nike shoes, purchased with some birthday money. I also got a replica holographic sight for my airsoft gun, and a bipod. I was given a new internal frame backpack for hiking, with a mess kit and "hobo tool".

I've probably missed some massive announcement saying this, but does this mean you've sold the 406?
There was no massive announcement. Famine knew first, as I was discussing possible purchases with him (although we didn't really discuss the RX-8) and I posted in the mods forum a couple of days ago.

According to the "pics of your car" thread, it's in the scrapyard.
Not quite. It's in a field just behind the house. It has an oil leak that requires the whole of the front of the engine to come off to get at it and fix it (plus 500 quid according to my local garage), it's MOT is due tomorrow, and every time it went in for a service recently, it's been needing more stuff done to it.

I'm undecided as to what to do with it. Ebay it for spares or repair, or leave it in a barn and rediscover it in 20 years as a classic, are my 2 options.

Just bought a decent block of wood, about 3 inches deep, a 30cm square piece of perspex, about 8 (really) nice buttons, 5 rotary encoders, some Plasti Dip, and some Carbon Fibre Vinyl.

If you can't work it out, I'm making an F1 steering wheel to replace the G27 thing. Will be making a thread on it when I get back from my trip to Europe, which will be when I start construction.

Can't wait.
