I've been looking to make my Scalextric track into something permanent. The hardest thing was deciding on a racing era. As soon as I saw this set, my mind was made up.

....how can you trade a tat for a tat? I am assuming it is a tat that you have not yet inked on your body that you traded the design for this rose/poppy flower one?

I did a tattoo for him and he did that one for me, sort of a perk to the business. I hadn't got one in almost a year so it was nice. It's called a peony, a popular Asian flower in tattoos.

Girlfriend and I were having trouble sharing our 46" samsung lcd soooooo.........
being a problem solver I went out and picked this up just for gaming. Now I have a real Man Cave for racing! 👍
I had a $320 giftcard to Walmart, tv was $558..... Not bad for $238 :dopey:

Oh I see, that makes sense. I was a bit confused at first. Looks good.

What is The Inbetweeners? If it's popular over there I need to be prepared for the inevitable US version.

A comedy about 4 teenagers at college. It is utterly brilliant, but not for the faint hearted, it's very crude but has some excellent storylines.

Sick artwork, it reminds me of Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid 1.

Finally... after 5 years since GT4 and 4 years since the launch of the Playstation 3, its here.

This is a great deal for a great camera!

I've been wanting a good point & shoot for ages. I feel naked without a camera, but my SLR rigs aren't exactly easy to lug around.

Found this at Fry's today. It was the demo model, so no box or battery, but it was only $250, plus $12 for a discounted battery. Pretty decent price, I think. Seems to function perfectly, there's a tiny chip or two but no big deal. Worth saving the $150 over the S95 too, I think, considering the only real difference is HD video that I'm not gonna use anyway.

Got these shoes. They're actually Puma Motorsport or something (found that after I impulse brought them), but I'm so awesome I just wear them around work. I hadn't seen black leather pumas before and had to have them. They're an anniversary edition or some crap too.

Well, at the Christmas market there was a Käthe Wohlfahrt store and I bought three tiny Christmas decorations for $17. They are truly beautiful though, a snowman, a orange bird and a red chrome bird, honestly as far as decorations, worth every penny.

Are these kinds of shoes very durable, say compared to the average skate shoe? I'm liking Puma's Drift Cats, but I'm not one to own multiple pairs of shoes at the same time. I use what I've got everyday, whether I'm just walking, or working or biking. I've been going through different brands of skate shoes for the last ten or so years and have been pretty satisfied. I typically get about 6 months to a year out of a single pair.

Tough stitching, thick material, comfort for standing long lengths of time with this brand?

I've got another pair (actually 2 now I think about it) of Puma's of a more casual style which I've had for about 2 years and they're fine. Though I don't skate or anything with them, they've lasted fine through general wear and going to the beach and crap. The one's I got above are genuine proper black dress leather, so aren't cheap or something I'd want to risk skating to be honest, but physically I've never had any problems with Puma's.

I've been meaning to try something like this to cool the entertainment cabinet my PS3 sits in. After a little experimenting with placement it works perfectly. After a few hours of constant running the cabinet space was teh same temperature as the rest of the room and the only heat that I could feel was when I put my hand directly in front of the exhaust vents.

You've never heard In Utero before? You've at least heard some of the songs on the album before, right?

Pioneer S-LX70W Powered Sub. (for me)
The S-LX70W is a compact sized glossy black active subwoofer. Integrating a 300W D-class amplifier, it reproduces the source signal with strength and precision, avoiding distortion and uncontrolled sound restitution for even the lowest of frequencies.

Sharing the DNA of our EX Series speakers, the S-LX70W’s 30cm driver features a linear magnetic circuit that improves the linearity of the cone’s displacement even at the highest power.

Aside from featuring a 0°/180° phase switch, the S-LX70W’s panel setting allows you to select the crossover frequency of the internal filter (or to bypass it). It also has a dedicated “Cinema mode” switch that will enhance any movie soundtrack to give you a unique cinematic experience.

A line output connector makes it easy to link with another subwoofer, which is recommended for particularly large rooms.

-------

I think she got the better deal, but one of my DIY sub's speaker ripped some time ago and have been down to only one 12" sub. I can't have that. This will be my first powered sub and the price was too good to pass up for a 300w sub at $1.33 per watt and free shipping, I had to do it.

It may suck and end up else where, but being powered, I can use it in other applications if it doesn't work out in my main room.
