So I've heard! I'd love to hear it firing the cannon, though I don't believe there's an opportunity for even blanks. However, I am looking forward to the accompanying commentary, lets see if they can trump the F22 commentator from last year!

Has the programme improved? Last time I checked it wasn't looking too exciting for this year due to the economy and other commitments.

If you want to hear the cannon, there's a life changing, all-expenses paid holiday to the middle east available. Be quick, offer ends soon! :dopey:

Back on topic, just got myself two of these -

So now I can walk the dog and train at the same time! Grip strength should sky-rocket.

Wow. Bit too much for me hehe. Are there lighter versions available?

The lighter version of those I ordered are 70kg each, but you can get what are basically two olympic barbells with handles attached (So I guess 20kg empty, with lots of room for plates).

A simple way to start training for doing the farmers walk is to use two dumbbells - this gets you used to the prolonged grip without the extra trouble of stopping the longer, more awkward barbell-style weighs from scraping the ground or tipping forward and nose-diving (I made this mistake, 50kg landing on your ankle is pretty uncomfortable!).

The A-10 and some of the other bombers simulated cannon fire and bomb dropping by having explosives on the ground that were detonated in sync with some of its passes. I don't think any sort of live round would ever be allowed at an air show.

Harriers are also 🤬 awesome.

Always awesome:

Retailers here haven't even announced the price of the ME3 CE yet :\ When they do set the price though, I'll be all over a preorder like a rash on a baby's butt :dopey:

EB has a retail price here set at $108 AUD for pc.... Not sure what that converts to in monopoly money however :P

Monopoly money.

I'm expecting it to be around $130, the vanilla game is $88 - I hope it's not much more than that as I'm going to drop $90 on the BF3 limited edition and I'm trying to save my money!

I bought a stylus for my N97M. It's simple, neat and sleek though a bit uncomfortable to use but it doesn't matter. I got it for MYR20 so no complaint anymore :P

Nintendo 3DS with Legend of Zelda Ocarina Of Time

And some blu-rays:

Paul
Season of the witch
Fith Element
Apocolyps Now
True Grit
Akira
Incredibles
The Adjustment Bureau
Lord Of The Rings Extended Edition Boxset

Also from the Steam sale (so far ):

Fallout New Vegas + all the DLC
Battlefield Bad Company 2 + DLC
The Longest Journey and Dreamfall

Hoping for a discount on Dirt 3 and Mass Effect 2 then I'm done for a while. :)

Picked up DiRT 3, ME2 and Amnesia and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory in today's sale. Unless an unbelievable deal comes up in the next two days I'm done with the Steam Summer sale, bought about 19 games in total.

It was on sale, I had Shift 2 to trade it in and, yeah, it's been a while since I had a nice beat'em up. I still suck pretty bad, though

I was disappointed to see the C5 has cancelled. Compared to seeing the F22 last year it does fall a little short, but I've been interested to see how Rafale and Gripens weigh up against EF and Hornets (as along with the F35 they're the major defence competitors at the moment).

However, this year I'm going with several mates off my Aerospace Engineering course, none of the others have been to an airshow before, so hopefully this will be a great introduction for them :) (With nice clear skies... Please!)

Yeah I've seen that with Panavia Tornado's, nice big flame ball went up! But it's not the same as hearing that gun fire, just wish blanks were viable :grumpy:
Harriers are also 🤬 awesome.
Last years show was one of the last British Harrier displays. Amazing. I saw them about 13 years ago at their base which is conveniently right next to the Fleet Air Arm museum, but in display the hover is an incredible physical and audible experience!

Got some items on impulse today but they were really good purchases.

Now got some awesome devices so I don't have to worry about not driving without being able to charge other devices while still be able to listen to music from my ipod classic. Now I need to get some driving music so I don't get bored of the same songs.

I Just bought an asus a52f-xt22... not a bad little computer. It's way lighter than my 2005 dell that I have been lugging to college for 5.5 years now.
