I remember when models used to be quite reasonably priced. I regret not picking up one of those 787Bs when they were around the £60 mark.

That particular model is incredibly well made/detailed though - it's more a work of automotive art than a toy once you hit those price levels. And to put things in perspective, I have a model set that I paid £130 for which was a steal at the time (they were £250). Last time I checked on eBay and on the manufacturer's website, they were going for almost £1200. Tidy profit eh?

The head is made of cheap plastic, and it's a stainless steal blade. The fact it has so many blades makes it almost useless as a weapon, but that's not what I bought it for. I bought it to sit on my shelf and look good, and it does that well.
And the cheap plastic and blade made it only $75.
I could've bought a high quality hand made knife that was kind of similar, minus the excess blades, but that was $800 on account of being hand made.

And I also bought a mug with a Dragon etching that cost about $30. The only pictures I could get looked awful. Glass etchings are tough to get pictures of.

Nice! Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi and 3G? And you'll want to update to iOS 5 when it comes out.

Just a Wi-Fi one, I'll be mostly using it for work but it'll have personal use too. I have an iPhone, but it's too hard to do some stuff on it so the iPad made sense to get.

When you put it like that yeah, good move! 👍

Are you sure you didn't get it just to browse GTP? iPads are great, I suggest "Zombie Gunship" for one of the many addicting games that are out there.

I got mine a while ago for £130

As far as I know they were never on sale for that price. It was £129.99 when it was launched.

Although, in saying that, the first price the website I got mine from had was when the model was announced and that it would be £60. I think that was in error as the 787B was Autoart's first(?) Exoto rivalling model and should always have been priced around £130

 No, I swear it is mostly for work. Many of our computer applications also have an iOS app that we can use too. Carrying around an iPad is so much easier then carrying around a laptop. I'll also probably use it to read books on.

Yeah, portability is definitely my favorite feature of the iPad. Even with my laptop, just moving it to the living room is a hassle because I have to unplug every damn thing – iPads are grab-and-go.

Anyway, my latest purchase:

Contains Hess Recipio Wee Heavy (wee heavies are strong scottish ales).

My new bike
for three months already now :)

You bought a Kawasaki over what?

OK, it's very nice bike. A VERY NICE bike, but you know they are as bad as Triumphs when it comes to minor niggles, although the engines seem pretty bullet proof. I mean things like the quality of the bushes and spacers that are made in China tend to need replacing every time you re-shim the thing.

Bought the Kawasaki Z750 '09 over a Suzuki Bandit 600 '02
Three years from now when it's deducted from the taxes it'll be time for a new one again ;)

Good call.

Not for not buying a bandit, which I can personally rate, but knowing that for the time you'll have it, it'll 'rock the casbah'.

I Third that, mainly because in my experience every smart ass insists on putting the word "bum" in front of it.

"Hey, how's the Bum Bandit?"

I do remember someone on here sending me an eBay link to a reputable seller to one priced around that a few years ago, it may have been slightly more but it was a lot less than £130 (in fact I think the US price was $99, which would work out to about £60, maybe even less a few years ago). And yeah, the 787B was AA's first signature line model.

Scottish money!

What the hell have you been putting in there?!

The red thing is rubber angry bird from the I-phone application & the fillet is in fact a floating island for the turtles to climb on when they have had enough of the water.

The reason the rubber bird is in there is because they actually play with it sometimes.

Update 3: Your item is being processed by customs in AUSTRALIA at 8:04 am on October 08, 2011.

How much? Free!

I got it as a sample so that I can look for distributes here. They're made in the UK by a UK company and want to get more buyers in China. It's got a rear view system so that what's directly behind can be seen without using the bike mirrors! Cool.

Aaawwwww......sweet!

I'm wondering how much I can get an imitation cf wallet knocked up for here in China. :sly:
