It has a periscope like mirror system which is built into the lid. It's a pretty cool bit of kit, they may have more info on the site. Link is in the first post.

I was in the bar last night testing it out and everyone was fascinated by it. One fat guy wanted to try it and it didn't fit on his head.

An awesome album by a Brilliant but underrated band! Give them a listen!

I agree, they were only popular for 'Tourist' but all their other albums before and after were really good. My favourite album is 'Beyond The Neighbourhood' even though it was largely ignored by the general pop.

Robin.

That is so cool, why hasn't it been thought of before? Do they use the same system in motorcycle racing?

It's being pioneered in racing as we speak. I'm not sure whether it would be more of a distraction in a race though.

I know what you mean. Only reason I got the Blu-ray was for the collection plus as you stated Digital Copy, rather than creating one myself.

Have you had chance to compare the DVD and Bluray copy yet?

^Really depends on the camera and film used. I watched Bluray movies from the 60-70-80's and if done right they are stunning quality for their age. But it needs proper postproduction work, which is costly and so not every film gets the same treatement.

Yeah I agree, hurricane is on that album and its their best song IMO along with Tokyo. Good to see there's some love for athlete out there beyond tourist and wires!

Mounting gasket Pierburg 2ee carburator. Should have been €84,-, but I said I wanted some discount, got 15% off, €71,- is what I paid.

I had no intention of buying this TV, or a new TV at all, and then I saw the one my brother just picked up. We went to Best Buy where they had the 55" on sale for $400 off and decided to pick it up. GT5 in 3D was pretty cool on my brothers set, not overwhelming but subtle and added to the interior view. I can't wait for it to be delivered a week from tomorrow.

Just placed a pre-order in-person at Gamestop because Best Buy sold more LCE copies than they actually had. So now I'm stuck with the normal edition. But at least I get the pre-order stuff.

Were there no other choices?

Other choices that were guaranteed to work? No. I've been looking for RAM for this machine for the past few months, so far the only things that have worked in it were a pair of 512MB sticks, and the current 2GB I have in it now. As far as I'm concerned. There are no other options.

Guaranteed to work? Nothing is 100% guaranteed to work but there is no reason why any intel compatible 1.8v ddr2 wouldn't work.
I have a few friends people I know who weren't too smart and got expensive gateways/acers that also believed only certain ram would work. The fx/sx series I've dealt with worked just fine with many patriot and kingston modules as well as ocz.

Heck, even crucial says:

DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 PC2-6400

Memory Type: DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 PC2-6400, DDR2 (non-ECC)

But guess what, I'm not stupid. I got this computer for 200$ off my work. And I've been searching AND buying memory for this machine for a few months, each time I think I've gotten ram, it didn't work. I'm not an idiot. I've gone to the places where I buy my components and tell them EXACTLY what the machine requires. They either don't have it. Or they have something that will supposedly work. I put it in. And guess what. It doesn't work.

I work with computers on a day to day basis, I know what I'm looking for. So please don't tell me otherwise. Because if you've somehow gone through and upgraded your own Gateway FX530XT let me know what YOU purchased. Otherwise your opinion means diddly to me.

Besides. 100$ for 8GB of an almost defunct memory standard sounds GREAT to me.

BTW the Kingston RAM I bought before I found these didn't work. :D

I noticed that you bought two 4GB kits(so 2GB x 2GB x 2GB x 2GB). You could of gotten two of these 4GB kits for $88 with free shipping.

I don't see your point in that it's hard to find modules under $100.

I'm not telling you to change your order. It's just a suggestion and I wanted to prove that it's not hard to find 8GB of DDR2 for a good price.

Why? Because it is cheap cheap and I can load my textbooks on it as PDF's and keep my photography on it, and handle my email and some other neato things. And Android will end up on it sooner or later.

Well. Ordered a blu-ray to a concert, a PSP game and said PSP game's song collection. I'm now out about US$220. Ach. Stuff's due November.

More Miku or other vocaloid for you, I take it?

Azuremen, at first that thing look about the size of a Nintendo DS, but I realized that wasn't the case when I saw your desktop keyboard...you used that minature, didn't you? :sly:
