If it helps, the phaser isn't a cheap plastic "replica". The amount of heft seems to suggest it's resin.

And, let's be honest, you're going to play with the phaser. I played with the phaser.

I can taunt you with pictures if you'd like.

If it is anything like the Recognizer that came with Tron Legacy (or was it the original Tron BD? I've got the bike and the Recognizer), and the weight of the box suggests it is, it will be die-cast.

I'll take a look at it, but darkening light leather would be a problem since mine's white.

I do not know the effect on white leather but I know on light brown leather it turns it into a dark brown color. So use it on any brown leather that you won't mind getting darker in color. I recommend puncturing the cap seal with a small nail so you can control the amount as you don't need much! Some people like to apply the oil with their hands(Plus it does help dry hands!) while I like using a clean rag(some leathers let off the color to the rag staining it permanently. Don't mix a rag you used for a black leather with a brown leather object as it will stain).

Edit: I'd also be careful with the leather products. I had one that was a cleaner and conditioner(Which also cleaned leather and vinyl) and it ruined the pigment of the brown leather surface on the belt(Made it into lines of light brown and dark brown).

So I've just seen the package you were talking about at Walmart, and I kind of want it now.

Ugh. Why does there have to be such a thing as "retail exclusives"?

And at Walmart I just saw that they have a special edition with a model of the "Enemy Ship." That's how they labeled it. I call it the Super Evil Reliant. Phaser or ship model? My brain!!!!

Because the combined cost would be well over $100, then I'd have two copies of the movie (6 or 7 if you count the 3D, BD, DVD, and digital in each one.). My money has more important things to be spent on than decorative, yet very nerdy cool, trinkets.

Just picked up:

Iron Man 3 - Bluray
Oblivion - Bluray
Star Trek Into Darkness - Bluray

This came in the mail yesterday. I had completely forgotten I ordered it.

I also just ordered:

and

Removed Beady Eye's BE Cover. It may not be AUP friendly.

The top album is AM by Arctic Monkeys and is fantastic, I would highly recommend it to everyone. A real return to form for them after the more bizarre (but not bad) last couple of albums.

I've been waiting for a long time for one of these older JVC Kabooms to show up locally for sale, its one of the older 52 watt models with the 6.5 inch woofers, .....fully functional and only 20 bucks ! It has no right to sound as good as it does :)

I just bought a 2008 macbook off of eBay. It had no OS and no Battery but worked, its a gift for the wife so she can have a decent laptop! I got a new battery as well. Aftermarket but 3 year warranty and longer life than the standard one. Pics soon!

I think, maybe, we need to have a talk.

You need to stop purchasing leggs, on sale or otherwise.

Picked up a couple of end tables for the theater room last night.

Looks pretty good with the metal sign on the wall, too.

Still looking for decent posters.

Bought these and they'll replace my usual pick for two decades, the Dunlop Tortex .60mm.

Man cave will be in full swing in October. Will go great with my pool table and dartboard. Giggidy.

Nice to see someone else has in-process man caving going on, too.

Even if mine is movie based and yours is game based. :D:tup:

Purely through necessity a new washing machine.
Met the most important criteria. They had one in stock. :indiff:

Also seen these in a shop window while getting the washing machine. Decided I had to have them.

Buying appliances sucks. Especially when you are replacing one that worked last week.

Yep, feels like water down the drain so to speak.
Much prefer spending my hard earned on other things as I'm sure we all do.

But you feel better about it knowing you don't have to take them out (laundromat, what we call them in USA) and spend an arm and leg each week to have clean clothes.

The only thing I hate replacing more then a washer is a hotwater heater/ geyser/ boiler :ouch:. Only had to do that once, and that was enough.

This one should last you plenty long, but hard luck on that one.

Nice shoes too; old school but new school.
