I've been on a Muay Thai journey for the past year. New gloves and ankle supports.

So I got a brand-new Audio Technica LP70 for Christmas! However, since the LP70 is an actual record player rather than an All-in-one, that meant getting new speakers for it.
After consulting with a musician buddy of mine, I landed on getting a pair of Edifier R1280T speakers.
They looked to be a solid overall balance between cost ($100), simplicity and sound quality for small desktop speakers, and said buddy who makes music recommended them. I've played a couple records through them, and while I don't really have a major reference point, they sound great and I'm definitely happy with them.
To that end, Good Bye, Victrola. You served me shockingly well for an all-in-one player (at least until you lost the ability to properly play vinyls), and soldiered well beyond the usual expiration date for players of your kind. Legit the best Christmas gift I've ever gotten up until now.
I've also been finding a bunch of records that I legit forgot I bought, so that's also been fun to re-discover.

My daughter wanted company for our male Betta who looked bored. There was also not enough foliage for him to hide in.
So I replanted the tank from scratch and we picked him up a girlfriend. Hopefully he won’t murder her.

From time to time I get a videogame art book and the latest is Returnal (from Dark Horse). Never completed the game because quite frankly I suck at it, but I love the art and design of the world.

A bottle of Southern Comfort, apparently bottled in the 1970's.
I was born in the seventies, and if I were to write a biography it would be from the point of view of the last drink I poured which would most likely be Southern Comfort - there is no doubt, the Grand Old Drink of the South shaped much of my life.
My plan is to have one shot on my birthday each year... there's one person I know that would have 'got' why this matters to me, and he's dead, so I'll probably raise two shots each year... (one for me, one for him). Depending on how rigid I am about this, it'll take between 20 and 40 years.
Given this is the plan, say hello to Matski's Death Clock.

Got these to bring with during the holidays. I'll share some or the prints on the amateur photo thread.
Had to improvise and reuse the film cartridges as storage because I dont have any albums at home. Made it a habit to offer a stranger to take their photo on the last the exposure of the 10-pack so I have these cool 9 exposure grids from each day that I went out.
I've genuinely missed instant film haha. I wanted to buy the Instax Mini Evo as well but honestly the credit card size exposures of the mini lineup is a bit too small for me. They're easier to find, that's for sure but too small.

The difficulty significantly drops once you reach a certian point of weapon expertise.
At first I also thought "wow, I cant believe I am this bad" and then suddenly it was finished.

An Old model of the Autobianchi A112 Runabout Concept (which is hopefully coming to GT7 sooner than later)
And another one of the Citroen Mehari which I got pretty cheap. Got a special connection to it because me and my family made vacation every year on the Baleares and these things were everywhere, perfect for the beach and indestructible.

Whatever misery that comes with 2025 will be drowned in the indulgence of this game. I haven't been this excited for a racing game since... well... a while
