LG 32" Monitor
I have been wanting to upgrade my home PC monitor for quite sometime now. It's a 10 year old 27" that came with the system. I'm also wanting a new PC that is as close as my gaming PC and I was going to wait until it gets built, if I can get my former co-worker who built the gaming pc, to get off his rear end and tell me what to buy.
But anyway about 3 months ago I started looking at monitors and saw this one on Best Buy's website. I knew I wanted a 32" flat panel with a 240hz refresh rate. It was a little bit expensive at the time. I looked again maybe 3 weeks ago and it was the same price. But on Tuesday when I looked they had it on sale for $400 less so I couldn't pass it up.
Got it home and I'm not the best at assembling things. I tend to get very angry when trying to do it. But I didn't have much trouble putting this together. Even on my ancient system it looks really good so I can't wait to see it on a modern more powerful system. The black is super dark and the colors on my desktop icons are much sharper.
I don't know how a lot of the setting adjustments work yet. The only negatives I have with it are the cord for the power pack is about a foot too short for me as now I've got it perched on the desk leg to keep it from dangling in the air. Also I wish it had a few more degrees of sideways swivel. But otherwise I think it is going to be a good one.
