Show off your PC

1,8 of gigahertzs and 768 rams.

-The case, well, there is one and it holds everything together. It had lost a few kickboxing maches against me and it shows.
-Celeron of some sorts CPU. Celeron stands for "fast"!! Have that in mind.
-The motherboard was made in 2001 by terrorists, apparently.
-Well, I know it has a PSU. Duh.
-80Gb HDD. I know it has only one inside but it shows as two on My Computer. I call Witchcraft.
-It has two CD/DVD roms!111!11 The black one doesn't work though...
-A Floppy drive. How many of your computers have this feature? Haha! Mine is superior!
-Advanced cooling system enhanced by the lack of one of the front panels. It must be very effective as it sounds like a tractor being shredded in a jet engine.

This is the best post ever.

An upgrade done weeks ago. Turn away if you're easily blinded.

These are actually pictures of the one with the broken fan before the replacement. HD4850 to 7850

Haha yeah the photo was taken just after the 690 was put in. Cables aren't like that now, I just can't be bothered to get it out from where it is an take another photo. I got some parts coming so I'll do a new photo once they go in.

Sweet! Can't wait to see it with them. 👍

Shazza that system looks like a beast, I'm guessing it runs everything you throw at it on max without breaking a sweat?

Thanks 👍 Yeah runs everything I can throw at it on max with no worries at all.

Look at all that space in there! Nice and clean, air flow must be great! 👍

Time to go triple screens and surround vision. 5040x1080 resolution for starters. :)

If that doesn't break a sweat, bump up to some higher res monitors....7680x1440 would give your setup a run for it's money on ultra settings.

Here's my PC. Specs:

CPU: I5 3570K no OC
GPU: Nvidia GTX 550ti
Motherboard: Some random gigabyte board
SSD: OZC agility 3 120gig for the boot drive (although the one in the pic isnt this, its a 30gig that I now use for school work)
Harddrive: In the pic I have a 2TB WD Green, and some small capacity, old, loud drives that I felt bad not using but no longer use because I dont need the space.
Case: Casecom 6788
I have an NZXT fan controller too but you an't see it here.
CPU cooler: Arctic freezer 7 rev 2 or something. It's not in the ideal orientation but I followed the instructions exactly.
Sound card: Asus xonar DG or something
Old wireless card.

I'm pretty happy with it, next upgrade is the GPU.

Look at all that space in there! Nice and clean, air flow must be great! 👍

Speaking of space, I also built a computer for someone with a non-modular power supply:

2v3o6di.jpg

I think I handled it very well, the side panel barely fits on. (Ignore the 24-pin cable, I forgot to tuck it away)

Yeah its a laptop but a major improvement.

SFIff.jpg

(New left old right)

I now use the other computer as a mouse pad but anyways the specs:

PC: Samsung np700z5c-s02ub (HP dv5000)
CPU: intel i7 3635qm (about 336% faster than before)
GPU: Nvidia GT 640m (too high a comparison)
RAM: 8GB 2x4 (4 times)
Hardrive: 1TB (125% more)
Running Windows 8 (was xp)

I'll get more RAM soon but other than that not sure if the motherboard allows anything.

Methinks that Samsung wants to be a Macbook when I look at the design :P

Specs are very impressive, though! 👍

on the corsair hydro coolers can you change out the tubing to clear ones?

Yes you could. Mainly for a custom look I guess. I decided against it as it wasn't worth the effort, and I don't look inside the system that much anyway.

So I just opened up my old HP because I happened to have it out...

I did some things.

...

Now I have 12GB of RAM in this sexy machine.

Sidegraded to a single 7950 a month or so back; needed the extra vram for triples:
2500k @ 4.6
7950 (crossfire in a month or two)
OCZ Vertex 4, Crucial M4
3x acer s232hl 6060x1080

Probably pick up a much smaller case down the line as well. I like a small footprint.

Bitfenix; you can get them on Amazon.

I started to sleeve my cables... then realized how long it was going to take... screw that.

 Been there, almost done that. :)

I like the look and will go sleeved next time around for sure!
