Yeah, I don't care what anyone shows up in, so long as it doesn't say Porsche or Ginetta.

Plans have changed , again , for my son's birthday lunch / dinner. Now its dinner at 6:00 hope to be back in time.

I hope so too!:nervous:

If there is an opening tonight, I’d like to join you guys.

I'll stick you as a reserve. You should know by 8:10PM EST if there is space. Thanks for the interest!

I'll prolly use the Beemer. The KTM might just be able to run without a pit stop if you keep it smooth on the tires. But those cautions might be the killer blow... or the the saving grace.... depending on when they happen

Also, my first event with F1 2019 : Senna vs Prost in Monaco
I turned all the aids off. Turbo lag and kick is massive. Brakes are very sensitive.

Lobby is open, invites are out. Again, be in the room by 8:10PM or your spot will be given away.

Me too, but I was at Red Bull! :dopey:

Last lap last night chasing @The__Camel . He certainly knows where to place his car. In the first part it looks like he struggles with getting his tires up to temperature? He is tempting me with leaving a small piece of track. If I go for it I will take myself out on the outside of a corner for sure and maybe both of us. Then, through the twisty parts he builds a lead. His tire temps must have come back to him. If there is a straight I gain a bit back. Then he had a 2 second lead going into the final long straight. The Beemer has good legs and I was back on his tail going into the final twisty bit before the finish line. If anybody is interested I'll post the setup of the Beemer. It took a lot of tweaking to tune out the severe understeer.

Thanks Red. Always enjoy racing with you. It was tough with cold tires. The cold tires definitely hurts the racing. Would have been nice to have a one lap shootout with both drivers on par.

We didnt play this past weekend so I was able to get some practice in and I worked hard on that car. My qualifying time beat the World Record on the time charts on PC for a GT4 by over 4 seconds and I was happy with that. The cautions are what they are I suppose......would be nice if we could keep more speed up under caution in order to keep the tires at a better temperature.

What a race! Had just about everything... except for a lead change. Fantastic drive by @The__Camel for leading basically the whole race, and schooling those other Mustang () drivers :P. Shout-out to my Beemer Bro @Rednose58 for putting up a great run! I had an awesome battle with @Hanable for a lap or 2 early too. The race had a few incidents, but overall was a success. The second Caution couldn't have come at a better time. (More on that below). I know @coltsjugg agrees. :sly: I mentioned maybe running the race again this Sunday. Not set on it, but if anyone is interested enough I might feel racey.. maybe some GT3s? Thanks all for showing up, racing tough!

This is one of the things I think I'm going to change about cautions. Obviously it's a new thing I'm trying to work out, trying to combine double yellows and Code 60s. Going forward expect the speed to pickup a bit during random Cautions.. don't know what speed exactly yet, but it will be well noted in a post.... that no one will read. :banghead::lol:

What did everyone think of a guaranteed Caution in the first half of the race, and chance of a second later on? It certainly played into pit strategies. I did kinda like the gamble of waiting...:dopey:

Everything was fine until the 2nd “green green green”
How obvious does a trap need to be? It was clearly going to happen.
Can’t remember who dove in the pits with me though, but they surely won’t be following that colts guy ever again.
I’d still do that again anyway. (The race, and pitting)

I jumped into the pits behind you. Had a pretty ****** race. Could not prevent that bimmer from spinning (default loose tune). Tried a hail marry getting into softs and had a different car after that, could enter a corner with confidence the rear would hold. I don't know if it was the softs or the lower pressure in the rear that helped a lot. Looking at @Rednose stream it seams it was the rear pressure. Only if the green, green, green waited a bit...

Funny thing is, the default tune had 26psi in the rear, but when I pitted on default pit strategy it gave me 16psi in the rear, which made the car MUCH better. Wish I had tested..:banghead:

@sgohsixthree, the random cautions are a nice addition, two thumbs up 👍👍

The BMW on hards was a definitely rear happy, ballsy. I practiced in that at first but it wore the tires on softs too much and well, you found out about the hards. It was probably the worst car out of the 4 I practiced in. Didn’t practice the rocket bunny or 1 of the mustangs. That’s 4 cars too many for me to practice in.

I qualified what, 5th or 6th with hards on the BMW. I could manage it, but decided to go with softs for more stability. They fell off fast though. My PSI was no more than 22, I think I ran the rears at 20.

Still love the car... one make?💡

Qualifying on the nurb is rough. Somebody brought up "colts has only done 1 lap, you know what that means" aha piss off, i did 4 and only 1 counted.
Dave saw the worst one when i messed it up 3 minutes in, but nobody saw the last corner one. that hurt.. 2 laps.

I just noticed my "young" face floating around, thanks shawn. appreciate it. C word.
