Great practice race! Thanks to those who showed up and cemented their picks, and those who are going back to the drawing board. That's why we do this. Also to practice the possibility of 3 Cautions! :eek: Wasn't expecting that! How are we feeling about that? I like it because it gives a break in long races, and also the possibility of catching up.

As of now we are almost confirmed 100%. @Xradkins you think you can make it? I know it's early for you. I'll need to hear from you before Tuesday morning or swap you with a reserve.

Somebody mentioned something about the ginetta yesterday and I immediately thought "eh team would probably do that"

i think the 3 cautions give it the unpredictability factor and make it more exciting by adding that last pit stop or putting pressure on the leader. can't wait for tuesday!

Tonight we begin the GT3 Limited Enduro Series. Our stop will be at SPA for 90 mins of caution filled goodness. No crazy weather. Updated driver list is below, if you are unable to make it let me know ASAP! Qualifying lobby opens at 7:30pm est. If you are not in the room by 8 you risk losing your spot.

Thanks for having me in the endurance race. Missed this mornings notice about it being Spa instead of the N24 layout but my tune still worked wonders on softs for the entire race. Apologies for the spin on first caution restart, clipped inside apex holding too tight a line. Next week is C.O.T.A. correct? Backed out on accident when @sgohsixthree began explaining and asked for the top three's weather ideas.
 
Great Race!! I'm especially happy every available car made an appearance! That 3rd caution never came to the chagrin of many. Made for some interesting scenarios for sure! In the future races I think I'll be shortening Cautions by a minute on either end from 6-8 minutes to 5-7.

How soon will we have weather information? Would like to run some practice this weekend.
 
I know we all like to sim race. But after seeing the things I saw last night I'm asking all of us to please just show some patience when coming thru the field. I watched one guy take out 2 people on a dive bomb and never slowed down...never said sorry over the mic..not a word. On a couple other occasions I saw the same things. Just no patience.
We are lucky to have these "actual sim like races" with 14-16 like minded people. Although I always prefer damage on because when a douche screws another's race up his is screwed up as well.....I understand why some dont want to run it. This game is going on 2 years old.....the online public lobbies are nothing but GT3 and 10 minute race bullcrap. Just a complete waste of time to even step into a public lobby. When you are lucky enough to find a bunch of racers who have the balls to run a 90 minute race just respect the other racers in there. Treat their race as if it's more important than yours. If it's a non damage room and you do spin them....at the very least apologize for it. I love racing and I wish their were more rooms that were dedicated to "good racing" but at two years old it's just not the case anymore. Nobody did me wrong at all last night.....I did myself wrong plenty of times...I'm just stating what I saw and I'm just asking going forward.....treat these actual racing opportunities like a treat, because they are.

Thanks for posting this @The__Camel , and couldn't agree more. I'll make my fair share of mistakes, and maybe even have contact, but I will always slow down and let the person back in front, no matter how many positions it costs me. Thanks too for @coltsjugg appreciate you waiting for me after the "incident", BRAVO to you, sir.

Thank you! It was getting scary at the end. My car handled like a dream at night but when day came around is when I started to slip. Very proud of myself for getting my first win here! Great racing by everyone and I will see you all at Road America!

I enjoyed the racing last night good fun racing @HazardLvL4 I watched your stream and my stream and it seems your car loaded up on the curb as I was passing u and both of was in the wrong place at the wrong time lol. @The__Camel I hope we can all clean it up for race 2
 
While I strive to make these races feel real the point is that everyone has a good time, learns something and most importantly is respectful to all other drivers. Please try and be more cautious, and if you cause an incident be sure to wait for those affected and return any positions gained. It's always been implied and this is the first, and hopefully last time I'll have to mention it.

While not the same involved parties, this is the 2nd Enduro in a row where I've heard about a hit and run. I appreciate you guys keeping your cool in chat and not retaliating, that just causes more issues. Plus, not much can be done during the race that doesn't lead to a shouting match. I appreciate these instances being brought to my attention. If there is a problem let me know and I'll address it as diplomatically as possible.

On another note, I'm glad I didn't have any reserves logged in on standby. But that's another topic of discussion.

I lost my enforcer @mphile77 to iRacing, so now I have to push the unruly ones in the fire.:lol:
