For some reason it does not work for me on chrome.

Strange, maybe a javascript permission error? If you can't get it work there is a "Pick a random car" button on k-prime now: http://www.kudosprime.com/gt6/carlist.php
The purple button at the top of the list will randomly choose a car for you.
