Just to confirm, with SixAxis, good throttle control on Prologue, no control over what so ever in this demo.

In the jungle it´s survival of the fittest.
In the demo it´s survival of the best equipped only. The others do not stand a chance.

I agree. I was good with the controller, but can hardly stay on the track with the wheel. So my time will continue to drop in ranks while I play Prologue and enjoy myself there.:)

To anyone saying it's the controller's fault:

The GT:HD and the JPN GT5P demo did not respond the way GT5P Retail and GT Academy TT do, so obviously it's controllable via software. Video comparing the 3 games (June 2008)

To anyone who says to use the right stick:

The right stick is just as non-linear as R2. Any difference you may claim there to be is simply a placebo effect. Besides, it's easier said than done, re-training yourself to accelerate with a thumbstick when nearly every other racing game you've played since 2001 by default gave you independent control over gas and brake on the triggers.

I made a couple recordings and graphs in July '09 for GT5P:

*"gas pedal pressure" means the in-game car's gas pedal

Sixaxis feels like a cheap N64 controller compared to my
original PS1/2 controllers. Not sure why they went and
changed to the new pots (cost or weight I guess) but
they are just terrible and start squeaking after a while.
If it wasn't for the wireless aspect, I would just bin them.
