Probably does, but I still count it as a power cheat. I would go for a straight-6 over a v8 any day!

I wouldn't call it a power cheat at all. You think of the tuning options in Japan for 1JZ, 2JZ or RB26 compared to the IS-F motor. Now in America where JZ/RB parts are a lot harder to come across, the most cost effective engine is going to be an LS due to all the readily available upgrades for them.

I'm all for a straight 6 over a V8 anyday, JZs are my favorite engine of all time, but you got to look at it realistically.

By heard it I'm going to guess you mean the video Orido had up on facebook of his engine with a hardhat on it? Thats fake, its a C63 revving over layed onto that video lol.

Easiest motor to find in the uk = 1.4 Clio engine.

I put that wrong. I meant speed cheat. You have huge instant torque at your foot, and it weighs less and better balance because the engine is lighter and gearbox heavier. It kinda makes drifting easy and it pure overkill.

No no, I think there were pics of it on drifted.com (not sure, was on a facebook page) and it most definitely a v8.

But orido must be very wealthy, because he had that supra for 1, maybe 2 years. Had an aristo for a year, and supra before that.

Orido was known for his 2jz cars as well as going all out and messing up. Kinda saddens me tbh..

That's kind of the whole point though. Build the ultimate machine with the best motor set-up.

The whole weighs less and better balance can also be said about the people who put SR20's in Cefiros, R32s, Laurels instead of the big heavy RB20

He drives Super GT and shot with Hot Version and Option. Of course hes wealthy lol. Doesn't he work with Ridox as well?

Yeah I understand. But the Sr20 actually has more power and torque than the rb20, and are very common. Not to mention the Sr20 is way smaller!

Also, v8's are even lighter than an Sr20 and are usually easier maintenance cause of no turbo, intercooler, etc. Just engine, radiator, ecu, and other small bits.
 
Yea, it's horrible.

Apparently going to have around 700hp out of the Flat4 though.
 
Yup I nearly died when I saw it. But if he can get 700 out of it, that'll be interesting to watch...
 
Lol, I am dumb. You learn something everyday haha. Out of all the FT86s I want to see Taniguchi's the most.
 
Haha, yea his looks so sick in the HKS livery. I guess he's running the boxer aswell?

Ryan, you sure that kit is do luck? I'm almost certain its kunnyz original parts.
