I'm from Manchester, England. And my name's Ghillie (or Oli in reality ) And with friends and other people, i seem to be quite good at GT5, but when it comes to the time trials and such i seem to be pathetic xD

So, any tips? I play with DS3 btw

Well I'm in it so no

It is open to anyone, of any standard. There is a qualifier to get in but that simply determines which division you get put in so that you are competing against people of an equal standard. You also learn loads from getting advice from the really quick guys and watching their replays. I highly recommend it if you are interested in getting better!

And, do we ever actually have structured races? Cause from what i've gathered from my time on GT5, only way to race friends is by searching at same time. Or will we have to wait for GT5 for this?

There are official GTP events as well as plenty of other organised events posted in this thread

Sadly the online racing is pretty dead with the imminent arrival of GT5 but there are still races going on and tomorrows event update may bring a 'last hurrah'. All you have to do is join at exactly the time published in the thread to meet other GTP members who may be racing. Go for it and have fun, there is a whole variety of experience and standards on here so you'll usually find someone to run with (the chat is always a good place to find people who may be racing)

I did the qualifier and managed to get into division 4 and consider myself just short of a legend at the game But up against the elite at this place is another story completely. Anyway the online mode of GT5P is useless for doing any sort of racing, there are not public lobbies let alone private ones. But GT5 should fix all this:tup:
