Slip, that picture is fantastic. I love all the diffeernt styles and colors and sizes and shapes of all the cars. It kind of sums up Gran Turismo; all sorts of cars from all over the world and beautiful places to race them in. Please say you have a wallpaper sized version. Pleeeeeze?

JTSnooks - Believe it or not, the longest portion of time was spent in-game, trying to line the shots up exactly to make Photoshop work easier. I would move them to the computer one at a time and view them full-size so I knew exactly where to take the shot, and other than some very small angle differences, it worked. The Photoshop bit actually took next to no time :).

Cascada - Thanks, as long as people keep enjoying, I'll keep posting :).

NTX - I wouldn't go that far, but if you insist... ;).

Krame - It's hard to believe the game is going on two year's old already, and I really blame Photomode for my continued interest. GT3 was only alive this long for me because of OLR. And of course there'd be a Scoob in the shot, how could I not?!

LGForce - I'll say what I always do... do it man! I love seeing the more rare shots, like multi-car Photo Travels. They're sometimes a pain in the ass, but it pays off in the end 👍

D_P - No problem man, every so often new people come around that just give off the vibe that they're going to be around for a long time. I have no problems helping people who become part of the community, because I was lucky enough to be helped when I was new here. I'm glad I could help, and I look forward to seeing your gallery hit the 365-mark, especially taking into account how fast you've matured 👍

725 - Thanks as always for stopping by mate, why don't you have a gallery to show off all your work?!

AlexWRC - Thanks, I think that's part of the reason I like the Galant so much; the colour. It's also a treat on N1 tires at the 'Ring, and one of the many cars I much prefer stock.

Pain Killer - Haven't seen you around in a while! Glad you like the older updates. The Fairlady was one of the cars to bite the bullet for this shot, though I probably could've fit the girl in. The Legacy too, before I decided it's too similar to the STI, and I'd much rather have that in there. Thanks!

Keef - You hit the nail on the head; when I was narrowing the cars down, I wanted to get as diverse a crowd as possible. All drivetrains (save for RR), old and new, hatch, coupe, sedan, and convertible, turbo and naturally aspirated, four, six or eight cylinder... though I realized I have no V6 up there, only two inlines. As for a wallpaper-sized one; funny you should ask. The next update is going to be a wallpaper update, since I've got a ton of material to work with compared to the last one. The 'shopped original size image is saved in PSD format, so I'll just run it through my light editing, and then it will be one of the walls posted up, probably during the weekend :).

Drift King - Thanks bud!

GR21 - Well, I did have a drink last night, though not because of this... ;). Glad you like it :)

Update: So incase people didn't catch that, the next update, which will hopefully be in a few days, will be wallpapers. There's the old update from last year with 44, so I imagine this one will probably be a fair amount more than that. I'm not quite sure, though it's worth saying this; some of the more Photoshop-intensive shots (the Celica, the red WRX, etc etc) may not make the transition to wallpaper. I may or may not have the original-sized PSD files, and I am not going to go through the cleanup and all that again, so if I forgot to save them, sorry. But I'm pretty sure those two examples (and the anniversary shot) are saved, so we shall see!

Man, this is very well executed man. I don't even want to know how much time you spent getting the camera angle well etc. Also I like you took all sorts of cars, that's kinda what makes this game. Congrats on the views, and on the replies too hehe. The PS part is done well too.

I'd like to change my wallpaper now, (a scirocco) so that's very well timed. Good luck on prepping the update. :)

Its no problem slip, I really enjoy your work your shots are always refreshing and different...

Update: I know it's been a while, but school, real-life, and other things have delayed my GT stuff lately. Hell, I haven't even been entering all the comps lately! Anyways, I decided I'd throw this up as a stop-gap before the wallpaper update. So far 20 are ready, and I'm not sure how many more will be coming. Some of them are taking a lot of time, because I never saved the PSD files during some of the more difficult blurring shots, so I'm trying to redo it as best I can. I'm sure you'll all enjoy them when they're ready :). So, here's one of my favourite MR cars to just throw around... Enjoy!

Sejtur - I hope you'll still be in the market for some wallpapers ;). Thanks man, the camera angle was a pain, I will admit. For some reason going to the same focal length as the first shot didn't get the right angle; I had to go to a different FL, get the angle basically right, then zoom in, them move the camera, zoom out, and then it'd seem to work right. Bizarre...

725 - You're kidding right?! If you're good enough to be in polls on a regular basis, and win here and there, then your work is more than good enough to be seen in a gallery. Get on it man!

Rev - Thanks good buddy (even if you're not around right now ;))!

Franz - Ferrari shots? I think so! I'm looking forward to your gallery's 2-year mark!

Pink - Thanks bud 👍

Thanks man, when I get time I will try to get one going :D nice update too

No wheel blur!? Well, it would have finished it off nicely, but it's cool as it is, great job. One of the few blurred pics in that photo location.

The wheels actually are blurred (the front one by hand, because the normal radial method was working with too little), but because of the style of the rim and the shape, it hardly looks like it in the image (they're Yokohama six-spokes, near the end, in case anybody's wondering).

The new update will be coming tomorrow, 28 wallpapers for your viewing pleasure :)

I love it. I always enjoy looking at your pics slip, the angles are always perfect and all your shots seem to have an artistic flair to them. 28 wallpapers?! Where'd you find time to make that many wallpapers. Hopefully one of those wallpapers will have a subbie in it.

Thanks Krame 👍

Well, it's much like my last batch of wallpapers, in so much that they're not new shots, just bigger versions of old shots from the gallery and comps. But, I can tell you that there are at least 2 Scoob pictures in there; one of them I even spent some extra time with making sure it's absolutely great as a wallpaper (most likely because it's the one I'm using right now) :D

This is really a pic I like. Nice colors, enough of contrast, great job. And people definately need to view this one in high res, because the "preview" doesn't look good with some of the pixels. Keep it up, and I'd like to know what selection of pics you made wallpapers of. :)

Hehe, I read the title and had visions of Mazda2s cruising through Deep Forest. :P
Great pic, your radial blur is so sharp (if a blur can be sharp at all that is ;))
The car itself is very clean, no dodgy textures visible. Like others have said the wheels might be a bit iffy, but thats down to the sharp angle. Great update.

Wallpaper Group Two - 10.17.06

Update: Turns out I had more than expected! It seems I actually had started on a second batch of wallpapers a few weeks ago and forgot, so the total number is actually now 38. I realize some of them aren't quite up to the standards of the others... that 510 shot is just about a year old now. They're in order chronologically, though rows 7 through 10 are comp shots, going from oldest to most recent. Also, because I didn't always save PSD's, there's a few shots that didn't make it. I just couldn't bring myself to spending even more time on them then I originally did for the smaller versions. So, there would've been four more shots; the Suzuki GSX-R twin shot, the Celica at Shibuya, my M Coupe at the 'Ring (you can see it in the 2.0 banner), and my S2 driving through the fish market. But I do hope these 38 get used. Enjoy! :)

Sejtur - Thanks for the comment, because I forgot to say it; yes, the full-size is a lot cleaner. I'm even happy with how well the wallpaper turned out of the MR2. I've really been focusing on making my images cleaner now, in the original size, so it makes wallpaper sets much easier ;). Hope you enjoy the selection!

Rev - Haha... I actually have an idea involving the Mazda2's, but I'm not sure I'll pull it off. It's... nostalgic ;). I spent a lot of time getting that MR2 blur spot-on, so I'm glad it passes. Yeah, next time, less extreme angle!
