Disposable - I'm glad they left you that way! Rally shots really are the ones I'm most critical about, as I've said before; if the cloud shape cuts through anything it's not supposed to, and looks too unrealistic, I don't even bother taking the shot. It makes for a lot more presses of the Select button.
BWoods - I highly recommend it, it's good fun! The program I have came with my camera (a Nikon Coolpix 4500, incase anybody's wondering), and the built-in panorama mode in my camera normally suggests an overlap of about 1/3rd of the picture you last took. I find that in GT, you should overlap the images more than that to give smoother transitions between shots. My first experiment involved a Chevelle at Infineon and the red and white curbing on the inside of the turn wasn't a very smooth curve. That's why I try to take as many as possible now
Franz - I'm glad you like the front page
. I'm quite proud of it, though I'm worried I'm putting more work into my gallery than the actual content
. I'm also wondering what I'll do when I hit the picture limit, though for now it's fine. Maybe I'll turn the oldest links into text ones, I dunno.
GT4Fan - Again, very glad people are taking to the first page
. The second panorama is actually my favourite too. I'm proud of the third for the sheer amount of pictures involved, but since I'm a huge fan of the RE RX-7, I prefer the second as it takes center stage
Sejtur &
Diabolical - Thank you very much
I'm going to be updating sometime late tomorrow night, most likely. I'm not even sure what direction the update will take; I might use the Mustang @ Hong Kong set I've been playing with for the 2.0 comp, or the Spoon for the PMC Week 33 one. I'm also getting the urge to just get some new material, or maybe even play with panoramas even more. I swear, I will sort out an acceptable way of getting comp entries integrated into the front page too, I think I've got a fair plan for that one
I think I might shoot a Honda next, though it won't be the typical
