False, sorry. They already know how to spot consoles running hacked GT games and ban them, there's no reason this same protocol can't be established alongside the trading system, and identify any hybrids if anyone attempted to trade them.
Utterly pointless to add since all the cars are available to everyone as long as you have money, zero incentive to trade anything as everyone has access to everything. GT5 had a reason, random car appearance in OCD and UCD, with that gone zero reason to have gift car or loan a car. Just buy your own, loads of ways t make cash to get any car in the game, Redbull races are easy and those seasonal time trials are there, no one can complain about where to get money. I have bought and tuned about 200+ cars and my funds have barely shifted below 38 million, which I keep padding by running random selected races with nice payouts at full 5 day login bonus for extra payout and I even have the Aryton Senna one lap for the 97T undone just for a cash injection should I ever need it. Money is all over in this game.
This! So much this! I had thought in the past of a list of simple suggestions like this and never brought myself to do it, thanks mate!
Here are my suggestions:
*Practice and qualifying added to career mode races. When has a race never had a proper qualifying? When have you seen a racer step into an unknown car on an unknown track and come out on top after starting last in a matter of two laps?
*Ability to switch off auto replay
*Freakin' event synthesizer! After game completition allow players to create a race or championship with all parameters (track, laps, tyre/fuel wear, each car, etc.) handpicked by them.
*Make the feature film at the beggining of each race optional! When you have to restart one race again and again it becomes really frustrating. Just make it skip straight to the "Start!" bit instead of showing the player half a minute of...cars running slowly.
*Give us a proper gallery mode where we can move around the car as we please! You already sort of have it in GT Auto where players can switch views on the car, and you already allow such a thing in photomode. Why wasting beautiful scenarios like GT Auto's showroom and the wind tunnel?
Not everything in the game is set up for end user use, just remember a lot of things PD use are simply for their showcase and not for us to utilize as it was not intended for that purpose.
Qualifying would be nice but with GT's pretty tepid AI that would be pointless as you'd always start at the front and being well ahead by end of the first lap. Until the AI is much more aggressive with keeping pace with players and pushing their vehicles to the limit, qualifying against AI opponents is boring on top of sleep inducing.
Even synthesizer is a cool idea from GT2, loved it but it was quite limited as there weren't many tuned cars in that game and it seemed to never install parts to better equip cars versus the player car. GT6 has the same issue, in Arcade mode the AI never tunes cars to match your car, they just grab a car of PP within the class of difficulty you choose. I literally spend loads of time in Arcade mode and I have found selection of cars to be ok to downright retarded. PD has to implement an algorithm to check user car, gauge it's PP, engine output, drive layout, weight, grip and aero upgrades then select a base machine from a database of relative cars that performance wise match the stock version of your car. Then it should be able to apply appropriate upgrades that will allow the car to compete satisfactorily versus the car in the hands of the AI. The routine should select most cars using this as well as selecting stock cars that are are close match for your tuned car as well.
I would love for the day that I have my tuned out Camaro 543hp, 1350 kgs with full aero package 580PP, run against AI cars tuned in the same way to match or just be over my cars' overall performance which is a hidden value that we all know GT has. Right now I get stale races and sometimes impossible races with the likes of the Huayra upfront on Daytona Road course and me driving an SLS, wtf?
