Smokin' the Leaf

The GT Academy Nissan Leaf that is ​

Since PD decided to dole these cars out to us one a week I figured I might as well have a little fun with them. I thought I would try out a few of the 400pp seasonal challenges and see what she could do.

I found this car rather bland and boring. The top end was low, acceleration terrible and the handling not much better. If you picked up enough speed and yanked the wheel into a corner you could smoke the tires though 👍

At the three lap challenge #6 Grand Valley East I finished an abysmal P8, 29.777 seconds behind the leader with a best lap of 1:33.199.

At challenge #5, three laps at Deep Forest Raceway I nearly made the podium finishing P4, down 17.528 seconds with a best lap of 1:47.309.

With challenge #4 at Tsukuba, a five lap event I finished a lowly P7 with a best lap of 1:17.045, 29.443 seconds behind P1.

And the car whines, oh my god it whines! More than 3 to 5 laps of that and I would go crazy

I am trying to find something nice to say about this car, really I am. It does brake well, but that is not saying much when you are going so slow to start with.

It was free and it is a nice shade of blue though

Cool story, and I mean that in the most sincerest way. Kinda reminded me of one of those childrens books with the big pictures with a little paragraph underneath it. A pretty cool review of this little car thats short and to the point. Pretty cool. Kinda like The Little Engine That Could except in this case, its The Electric Blue That Couldn't, lol.

Am I the only one who hasn't been able to race the leaf online? I tried to suggest it when hosting the GTA prep room, and nobody could see the Leaf in their car list.

Anyone else experience this? Or am I crazy?

Think it's been fixed. It now appears in the premium tab of your garage.
