I have my decision in mind. I need to figure out the tire wear and fuel though. I plan to figure that out on grandpas money account today.

I know I said by Christmas but after testing the wears I’m not liking my original thought so I am looking into another idea. For some reason this is very difficult this time around. I know what I want to do I just can’t make it work.

This has probably been discussed and put to rest, and if so, I apologize but has there been any thought given to open up the tuning in this series? With the tire wear and fuel consumption, it seems only obvious to open up the tuning, as this can have a huge affect on both tire wear and fuel consumption.
Anyway, just a thought I had and thought I would ask.

I imagine it wouldn't be "spec racing" by Snail's definition if we allowed that. On top of the fact that we aren't currently allowed to manipulate the fuel and brake maps.

You can manipulate the fuel mapping.. just not the brake maps.

In GT6, there was the Snail GT-1 Series which had tuning. I never ran it but they had a very dedicated group.

Working on a good tuning formula for the cars and the series itself takes a lot of hours of testing and effort. @DublDee You could try to start that series up again and the name alone may attract interest.

Thanks Neutty - I definitely won't have a practice room tonight so if you could start one that would be lovely.

I will run for a while - must show deference to my Crew Chief.

At last night’s practice a Japanese driver, kairyuu345, ran a 2:17.357
FYI as to what is possible.
Am sure he was on a Contoller.
Don’t think he was using a shifter either - very normal shifting delay.

I think @Kgffy ran a similar lap later.
