IMPORTANT UPDATE​

I WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS THAT WE ONLY HAVE TO RUN THE SAME CAR FOR THE SEASON IN THE GR.3 CLASS WHICH IS THE ODD WEEKS FOR THE SEASON. THE OTHER RACES (EVEN) WE DONT HAVE TO SELECT A CAR TO RUN. THANKS.

ALSO, FROM HERE ON OUT, IF YOU DISCONNECT PLEASE POST IN THE THREAD THAT YOU WERE DISCONNECTED AND I WILL GIVE YOU POINTS FOR THE LAST PLACE ABOVE THE ONES THAT RAGE QUIT. IF YOU QUIT AND DONT POST IN THE THREAD, YOU WILL BE SCORED WITH A DNF.

ALSO, DNF WILL NOT BE TAKEN OFF OF THE FINAL POINT TOTAL AT THE END OF THE SEASON. YOU WILL STILL LOSE POINTS FROM THE RACES THAT YOU SCORED POINTS IN.

ALSO, WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY FOR 2 LOBBIES TONIGHT, I JUST SAW IT TOO LATE. SO IN THE FUTURE IF WE HAVE A FULL LOBBY AND HAVE A MAX OF (2) PEOPLE WANTING TO RACE THAT WILL RUN THE ENTIRE RACE, IF YOU HAVE DNF'S FOR THE SEASON YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE PEOPLE WHO PLAN TO RUN THE RACE REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY FINISH. Otherwise if we have more than 2 we will open a second lobby and use the overall time to decide the finishing order.

ALSO, TO BETTER PREPARE FOR TWO LOBBIES IN THE FUTURE, WE ASK THAT EVERYONE BE IN THE ROOM BY 9 EST TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE HAS A CHANCE TO RACE.

I found a typo in my earlier post. It’s fixed now and also I added

Otherwise if we have more than 2 we will open a second lobby and use the overall time to decide the finishing order

Oh you were miles ahead of me, @Neutty was the one applying the pressure.

While I'm at it, I'd like to apologize to @SHIFTER1961. I believe I bumped you at the final chicane causing you to spin. When I pulled off track to let you through, at the time I didn't know who had spun. I let Neutty through and assumed the next car through would be the car that spun, but the next car through was @TexasJDC. I only saw that it was you when I looked at the race replay. So I'm sorry man, I would have continued waiting if I had recognized.
 
So I was behind Guido when I got a strange bug where everyone left the lobby and I'm the only one on track. Tried to leave and it took about 5 minutes to get back to the lobby menu and the room was nonexistant- all the while my router had no apparent issues and I never got a bottom-right notification of a PSN disconnection, so I have to assume it's some bug with open lobbies.

I've gotten this bug many times in the past and usually I'd just wave it off as an unlucky disconnect but it's been occuring more and more frequently the past month (not just in SNAIL either, happens in other random lobbies except FIA lobbies) when everything on my end appears to be working properly. I seen to get this bug on a weekly basis but I can't find any reports of something similar happening to anyone else, so I have no clue what's causing this.

I used to have that issue alot actually ran a hard wire from the router to PS4 internet company changed a few settings now no issues
 
@Timlour

It might be a Heat, airflow problem.

I had a similar issue, among others, and just put a small fan (blades 8” in diameter?) set to blow on the vertical standing PS4.
Haven’t had that happen again.

Yea we were a little late with starting qually. And I was trying to push through to get started as quickly as we possibly could.

That explains it. I saw I had 11 friends in a lobby and when I went to jump in the room to watch (since I fell asleep) it showed me one lobby with 1/16 ppl in it and it said you were racing by yourself

Not at the beginning you were right there with us man.

In all honesty its proply a good thing I didnt tell everyone that I ran about 100 laps there over the past week working on a project for another racing series I am part of

After extensive detailed Engineering examination, and data from hours of Wind Tunnel testing - American Racing will enter the Lexus RC-F in the upcoming event next Tuesday night.

In the ARL we had time til raceday to choose our car, so my decision is a bit late for this series...
 
@TEX36 and I have come to the conclusion that we will allow this season a chance to change your Gr.3 Car. You ONLY have until This Friday, 7/19/2019, to make your change. In doing so, you will lose your points and the finish will result in a DNF. With it being a DNF, this cannot be used as one of the “dropped” points races at the end of the season. The consequence is severe for the car change but I did not have in the rules anything about changing cars other than “but once you choose you must remain with said car for the reminder of the season.” OR “The car is the car that you have chosen to run the season with. You must stay in that car until the next season, so choose wisely.”

We will readdress this for next season!
