The problem we have been having, and I’ve noticed this on Saturday nights as well, is people not paying attention to their radar. There should be
NO absolute reason for anyone at the rear of the field to try to beat a leader into a corner when being lapped, yes it’s up to the lead car to pass, but the “lapped” or “about to be lapped” car needs to
NOT race the leaders. The lapped cars have every right to every line on the track, even in front of the leaders,
BUT when the leaders are along side of you, it’s your responsibility to yield to that leader don’t try to race them into the corners, it will end in disaster for both of you.
In your case
@CPT_RowdyGiff i personally will follow until A it’s safe to pass your both, or B one makes a mistake making more room. But in my personal opinion, the leaders should let those at play battle it out for position, if the car behind you in position is gaining heavily, you need to go, then do it safely, but don’t expect them to yield. Chances are, if you catch them and are lapping them on track, your are plenty fast to pass them within that lap with ease.
