Endurance practice
CLOSED

Very instructive tonight. Hope everyone gets some Traffic practice.

Also, would ask everyone to be aware of the meaning of a Blue Flag on cars being lapped.
The lapped car isn’t expected to drive into a wall - just realize the car lapping just might be racing for position in the later laps.

Question. What if, it’s near the end of the race, 4th and 5th are a lap down and racing for position, 3rd place catches them, and 2nd place is 40 seconds ahead of 3rd. 3rd place has no chance of catching 2nd unless he wrecks himself, and he’s not gonna lose 3rd to 4th because he’s about to lap him. Who is on first base??????????????

The problem we have been having, and I’ve noticed this on Saturday nights as well, is people not paying attention to their radar. There should be NO absolute reason for anyone at the rear of the field to try to beat a leader into a corner when being lapped, yes it’s up to the lead car to pass, but the “lapped” or “about to be lapped” car needs to NOT race the leaders. The lapped cars have every right to every line on the track, even in front of the leaders, BUT when the leaders are along side of you, it’s your responsibility to yield to that leader don’t try to race them into the corners, it will end in disaster for both of you.

In your case @CPT_RowdyGiff i personally will follow until A it’s safe to pass them both, or B one makes a mistake making more room. But in my personal opinion, the leaders should let those at play battle it out for position, if the car behind you in position is gaining heavily, you need to go, then do it safely, but don’t expect them to yield. Chances are, if you catch them and are lapping them on track, you are plenty fast to pass them within that lap with ease.

Congrats to @SAMHAIN85 on the win tonight!!

So, we voted on the next track that would be on 12/17. Problem is, Its SPA..

I dont have an issue with SPA, BUT as you can tell, we ran it 2 weeks ago, and we are running it in 3 weeks, which would make spa, back to back. I would like to offer up a "RE-Vote".

Here is what im going to do, i am going to list the tracks that were voted upon in the lobby, (i took a screen shot.) I will even include, SPA, the track with the most votes will win, if there is a TIE, then the vote will go to the track that was voted on 1st!! Below is the list of tracks..

Circuit de Spa-Francorechamps

Autopolis International Racing Course

Circuit de Sainte-Croix C

Willow Springs - Big Willow

Sardegna Road Track A

Carcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix

VOTING WILL NOW BEGIN, AND WILL CONCLUDE 12/4 AT 9:00pm EST. At that point, @Phlano099 will begin his Testing as he has the next pick for the next combo.
