Sneak Peak : Course Maker?

I like the idea of another extremely long track. I'm just not fond of how wide and uninspired it looked. Very reminiscent of GT5 user generated tracks.

Too wide for a road, too uninspired for a racetrack. If it is a course maker sneak peak I hope there are some options to adjust road width.

The scenery looks great though.

Wouldn't it be a let down if it WASN'T a course maker preview but a PD original track?

Well, it would be a nice scenery for a course maker so in that way it would be a let down.

It does look very autogenerated though.

Just keep in mind that if they stick to the plans they've laid out in public, the course maker seems to be a 3 staged rocket:
  1. First, tracks made by PD using the course maker tool will be available
  2. Then the course maker tool will be available
  3. Then the GPS functionality will be available
So even if this is a course maker track, it's impossible to say when the rest of the package will arrive.

I can't wait to build my new tracks, this looks utterly brilliant! Kaz and the rest of PD desperately need a hard, swift kick up the @rse though; we should have this by now.

the track will be added to the game its going to be 27km long the longest in any gran turismo and its apparently based around the city of ronda in spain

It's not going to look anything like in the presentation ¦:^l

That's Ronda, already in the game. You can see if you wander about, poke your camera places etc., what the deal is there: city streets and the roads in the surrounding area, including dirt tracks and multi-lane highways.

There are potentially two types of "course maker", the one described in that portion of the video you highlight, selecting from existing roads as above, and the bit just before with the returning GT5 version and a "new generation algorithm" in a massive area. It's possible they're linked somehow.
