What do you think PD will do to make people play the single player campaign?

Or will their be level restrictions on the cars?

Probably instant access to all cars, considering the sheer number of complaints there were about it, the fact that they've gotten rid of the level system, and the fact that some of the editions give you something like a million credits from the get-go, and that'd be pointless if you had to spend lots of time in slower cars before you could even access the expensive stuff.

Yup. All cars available for career mode, unless there are secret prize cars. It looks like arcade mode will be like GT5's with set cars usable.

The fact they are not locked as in GT5 because of that useles EXP system is ok... I just hope the prize cars are decent this time...

Not to be insulting in anyway, but isn't this abit of a silly question considering its been confirmed that PD have gotten rid of the EXP leveling system?

I thought they were still going to use the new star level system, so if you're only a beginner "one star" level driver, you can only drive cars up to your current star level. Same with tracks.

As soon as you get money for a car, you are free to buy it - that was in all GT games before GT5, and I just don't understand the other way in racing games. "Sorry, we can't sell you this car because you haven't won enough races". :irked:

Yeah :D many moments of "WTF??" there, when you just won the super GT championship and got a Daihatsu Midget as a reward...

Which PD baboon made that decision pre GT5?.. :ill:

Only money restriction for road cars. For race cars, there must be a system where to get one you have to do a licence.

P.D. Probably I expressed it badly, my level of English is not very high.

I don't see any logical reason for restricting race cars through licenses. The past 5 games didn't do it, so why start now? As long as you have the money, any car should be yours.

With all of the people who pre-ordered from Gamestop or the like (a vast majority of those on GTP, I'm sure)getting cars like the Audi R18TDI, R8LMS, quattro S1, essentailly all top-tier cars, right at the start of the game, there's no point in locking the race cars.

And hopefully too, those who have pre-prder the game and have cars from the start, wont have to buy a car to start racing, like in GT5 :scared:

Vettel challenge was good, speed precision concentration, hope we have one for X2014
But the X2014 mustnt be free as gift or something else
I would have no problem with a difficult challenge like that, but I despise the X2014/X2010/X1 car itself. Much rather have something like trying to beat lap times with a GT3 or Super GT car.

But on a related, maybe cars will appear in the dealerships but cannot be purchased and only won, like GT4.

Nobody wants secret prize cars?

I do.
Or at least that some of the cars on the list don't appear right away in the dealerships, like the 99-01 Super GT cars in GT3... So you can actually go and find out where they are hidden... Having all cars from the beginning would mean this game is all about grinding... and that it's not a good sign...

X2014 = :yuck: the only purpose that served was B-Spec grinding. Without required B-spec, I don't see a purpose for it all.

I really hoped (and I think with me, that these X2010 etc fake crap would be left out GT6)
for the rest, I hope that they make very good cars rewards, like in the old GT series, for license gold you'd get a FTO LM edition etc. So that youreally have to play the game to get certain cars > which makes it worth more to play certain things in game.

hahahahahahahahaha wetting myself, classic call. The one time as winner you felt like a loser "congrats kid you tried your best here have a Midget and the car version as well" "Aw geez thanks mister that's real swell"!

Does this mean that all cars are available from the dealerships, and none of that awful "random" used car nonsense we had in GT5?

It does look so that every car is available from the dealership. No random ucd as far as we know so far. If there are restrictions what cars you can buy and what competitions you can enter we don't yet know what they are.

I hope they do it like they used to before GT5, where concept cars and the like weren't available for purchase, but you had to win them through events and such. It never really felt special winning a prize car in GT5, as you could have just bought them yourself.
