So, how was your day?

Been helping out my dad with his construction business.

When that storm came, we got a client frantically calling. Turns out this client was the moron my dad warned about flooding in his house. He told him to excavate some of the dirt and earth he had (there was tonnes) next to his house, and move it away from his basement because his windows were too low.

He said it's fine, and rather rudely dismissed the advice by dissing my dad (I was so close to hitting this arrogant bastard, I had a hammer in my hand....). So my dad played it cool, and finished the guy's basement the way the guy wanted.

When the storm hit, he called....

"What do I do?! There's water spewing out the windows like a fountain!"

"Really....? How can that happen..?"

"Im serious! What do I do?!"

"What do I do, he asks..... you should've moved the dirt away from your house. Now all you can do, is buy a pump."

"What?!?! It's 🤬 raining!!!"

"Well.... wait until the rain stops."

So yeah.... the day the storm hit, I was driving the Lowe's Delivery Van back to Lowe's to get my van back.... It was hell in the family van. Basically land yachting... I've never hydroplaned that much before, because I would just drive fast in my Goat. That method doesn't work with a '96 Plymouth Voyager..... it has no speed whatsoever, but it's like a mule, it won't give up on you. However, this mule was carried off by the water about 7 times ON THE 🤬 ROAD!!!

So yeah, the past few days have been hell, with construction, rain, heat, and yesterday night the cold came back. I was shivering with a Hoddie on.

The good, well I might finally have a job. It's only temporary but it's better than nothing. I hope I will get a call over the next few days confirming it, until then it's fingers crossed.
If I do get it then I will use my first pay check to get the car serviced to fix the whirring noise, and sort the front bumper out.

I've just got the call I was waiting for, I start Monday :D

Went to VIR to watch my great uncle practice for the Radical Cup. He asked me if I wanted a ride, "uh.
.sure sure!" I replied. Well he had his driver coach take me out for a few hot laps- none other than Core Autosports own Colin Braun. Man what a treat that ride was. Never been to VIR and never seen a Radical up close before, great day!

Awesome.

Had to get up at 5:30 for work, but we had a charity thing going on where a sausage on a bun, and a drink, was only a buck. (3 bucks for non-employees.)

And it was a beautiful day, so for my half hour lunch break I just sat outside under the tent.

And I used my credit card online for the first time, DCS A-10, Just Cause 2, and Silent Hunter III for only 25 bucks.

:D

Fantastic. A great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I recently found out that a girl likes me. I've kind of liked her for a while but there's another girl I'm friends with that I was crazy about. But I had no chance with her. So I had to get it off of my chest to the girl I was crazy about so that I could move on. This girl is the greatest friend ever. I expected her to react in a negative way. However, she could not have been more supportive or let me down more easily. She said she was honored that I liked her and that we are still going to be great friends. And to be honest, I'm a little sad, but she's a friend I can afford to lose for anything. So now I can move on the the girl who likes me and devote my full attention to her.

A bit late, but, Congrats!

My day has been.... so-so.

Couldn't find any of my shorts, because I might have left them in Europe. So I went to Wal-mart. Bought a lot of wife-beaters, and SHORTS! I was sick of wearing jeans in this blasted heat. Now I feel liberated... Besides that, just BO2 with cousins all day, everyday.

I'm thinking of getting the M1 license. I want to drive a BMW 1200RS, or a Yamaha G6.

Got a few birthday parties today. Also my brain decided that if I wake up and see the sun, it's probably an explosion.

TB
That's because it is. Albeit one(s) 92,960,000 miles away. ;)

That's not how it seemed. It looked like it was colliding with the earth. Everyone knows the sun is basically an explosion (everyone with a developed brain that is.)

Went to the Malcolm Wilson rally at Greystoke- aside from the sunburn, it was epic! Seeing a Fiesta R2 (2014 spec) acting as a course checker, and being hit by stones from a drifting Subaru or even Talbot Sunbeam! Bit tired and very burnt- but I'm glad I went!

As of the other day, I have learned that is a student at my school named "Vile." That poor kid, they have to live their life with a name that means, "Extremely unpleasant."

I finally passed the year (that I didn't pass last year because I'm a cabbage), and actually managed to pass 4 assessments over the course of 1 week (about 20 credits all up. Which is a lot considering 60 credits is necessary to pass each year). They haven't been entered on the NZQA site yet, but I know that I passed them. Firstly because my music teacher was impressed by all of my music assessments (3 of them being music), and my computers teacher was confident that I had passed also.

And after the busy week, I have two weeks of holiday to do stuffs. :D Mainly sitting around being rather cold, but still.

Oh, and now there is a dying alpaca outside that needs attending to... However I don't think there's much that can be done.

Well, I got invited to a Project X inspired party. :ill:

Other than that it was another boooring day, sponsored by "I don't have a PS3" :ouch:

I'm moving 1,500 miles away in two weeks and I've been trying in vain to get in my last goodbyes with a couple friends. I know they're busy, but what's driving me crazy is now I'm being ignored, particularly by my best friend. The rest of my friends are my neighbors, but I never get to see my best friend because she lives an hour away. And as a single guy approaching 30 it's not like I get much social contact so the relationships I have now mean more to me than say the ones I had in college. I'm not sure if I pissed my best friend off by being too pushy or weird about wanting to spend time together, or if she just feels bad that she can't find the time to drive an hour to hang out and is ignoring me because she doesn't want to let me down. Either way I hate the possibility of never seeing any of them again. I'm not good at goodbyes lol!!

I was getting like 4 hours of sleep for the past week and today it finally came back and bite me. My head was about to explode. Came home, pop some pills and slept for about 3 hour. In addition to that it's exam week and I pretty much screwed up my papers.

I wish I lived without fears, but fear keeps me alive. Life goes on, huh. :)

Came back from Melbourne for that leg of A Day to Remember's Australia tour with my girlfriend and a mate of ours from work; we had a few hiccups in the trip but all was forgotten when we got to the concert. Alcohol was consumed, songs were sung/growled/moshed to and all in all we had a pretty bloody good time :D

Very nice! Always wanted to see them. You saw an American band in Australia, and I almost saw an australian band in america (Hands Like Houses) but missed them by 20 minutes last friday :(

Interestingly boring day. Just sat around really. It was a beautiful day outside. I've been feeling really down as of late. My bike broke so that kind of thwarted any plans or thoughts of exercising. Right now... It's just one of those nights I've been having for a while.. Just staying up late, reading things and listening to music. Hopefully I'll snap out of this.

Well it's 2pm nearly and so far it's been a crazy as hell hot day. Wake up at 7am, get drinks for work at 7.45am, then on way to work I see a few nice cars but then I saw a car crash at a junction less than 1/4 mile from home, around 8.10 I hear a loud bang and my bike throws me off into a dirt bank covered in plants, I look at rear wheel and the tyre has a Huge slice in it pretty much destroying it and not even staying on rim, so I get to work late barely moving on rear rim.

Went to Gamestop to pre-order an Xbox One. I swipe my card and it declines. I swipe it again and it declines even though I have more than enough money on my card. Then the guy tells me that they don't have any pre-order stock anymore. Waste of time.

Right now. I'm just sitting around doing nothing.

You'd think they would tell you they were out of stock right away.

Yesterday was pretty cool. Found a little praying mantis and I took a few pictures of it. They were with my digital camera, so they aren't of the best quality, and plus he kept jumping on it so it was hard to get pictures.

An alpaca licked my face today, so that's new.

And then I came inside wanting to play on my PS2, for the first time in about 4 months, and then... My controllers and memory cards were all gone, because my sister has them, and took them to her boyfriend's house... :banghead:
