Rather boring day.

Although I did learn that I qualify for the newly legalized medicinal marijuana law in Illinois. (Not that I need it, or want to do it. It's still funny.)

You mine as well sign up and get it. If you don't want to use it than make some extra cash by selling it to high school kids. Just joke lol.

Yesterday (seeing as its less than 2 hours into today) was meh.

I visited town where I encountered a woman who wasn't exactly nice. She was in GAME shouting and swearing about the PS4 asking "WHY THE BLEEP CAN'T I HAVE ONE NOW!?!" I tried to explain its because they aren't on sale, so she said "No it's just you can't buy one you scuzzy chav." When I was wearing jeans and a Pagani t-shirt from EVO. She also got highly offended when I said "Have some damned patience and stop swearing, it'll rub off on your kid"

She eventually got the manager, me, 2 employees and another customer trying to tell her the PS4 wasn't out yet. She was taken away by security after she got really angry. Strange.

I also saw a Jaguar F-type which always brightens your day.

Then I met up with a friend and we went up to the industrial estate car-spotting.

And then we were just talking about life and stuff at my old school, I haven't been to it in a long time. So I felt nostalgic and weird. I then met the lovely Jessica and spent the rest of the day (until 12 actually) playing GT5 or just talking. No sex though ;)

Yesterday wasn't too good. Went to the bike shop and I felt like I lost the ability to talk to people. The mechanic there asked me if I wanted to get my rims fixed for $40 and I just said yes, wrote my name down and left.

Something is wrong. I just don't know. Nervousness and anxiety.

Working on my GT5 Wangan Midnight project, so far it's been a real pleasure, making hybrids of my favorite cars. Driving those turbo monsters on street tire at SSR7 just made me so .... I can't describe it, blipping the throttle on downshift braking from 320+kmh into the 1st corner ( a left exit ramp ), hearing the exhaust crackle from 700+HP Twin Turbo Z33 is just :P then hitting those speeds 350+kmh ... fighting for sub 5 minutes lap with CS tire :embarrassed:

A good day really....

Was excited to try the newly opened ramen house after work on Friday. Before food arrives, my sister gets an emergency call from mom reporting that grandma passed away earlier that day.

It was all so sudden. Everyone knows she's lived life as healthy as she could - not eating anything excessive like deep-fried, oil/grease-heavy, BBQ, just stuff with minimal bad things. Her memory and intelligence was great for an 85 y.o and she can well enough in shape to go out with her friends often. It's a darn shame she felt a sudden pain a few days earlier and didn't know what was wrong. She reported it was her stomach, but it's common to mistaken pain just above that as stomach pain. It was likely some heart-related issue.

She was found lying on the floor with her hands just below her chest off to the left. Fortunately the duration of suffering was minimal unlike my uncle who had to live through 9 days of breathing difficulties thanks to the developed pneumonia after having a stroke before passing last month.

Crappy summer so far. 2 relatives dead and a flooded basement.

It's a shame for your family to have multiple losses in such a short time frame. My condolences to you and your family. :(

Spent my entire day doing some design work. And now I'm creating a simple 3D model of it in Google Sketchup... And now I'm realizing that it's 1/4 to 1 AM and I have to get up for school in 6 hours... Crap. I think I should try getting some sleep now..

Today I did some workouts outside rambling through on a bicycle with my dad, afterwards being promised to be delivered with a new one for my future twentieth birthday in next March(or sooner within this year at the earliest). :P

I think I have this same sort of problem.

Well, yesterday was good. Took a 55 mile trail ride with my dad. There were some sloppy, muddy parts, but the trails couldn't have been much better. Also saw many people riding, which is always good to see.

Today I cleaned off our bikes because they were pretty dirty, and took a bicycle ride around the lake. But I have to go home today. Tomorrow begins three straight weeks of nonstop marching band. Not sure how to feel about that.

It wasn't very good. First of all, my mom and sister decided to bring me shopping for school supplies with them. Then, this is the part that makes it horrible, my father told us he has this entire week off from work. That means that we have to deal with that 🤬 fatass all week. I do not know how I am going to get through the week. I just can not deal with being even in the same house as him anymore. Sometimes, when he is around, I'm tempted to just go berserk.

Have to say, had an amazing day with my wife and kids. It was Mrs. Pako's birthday yesterday but had to wait for the sunshine to come out to really enjoy today. Took the boat out and drove 30 miles to the Spotted Bear wilderness area. Spent the day on the water, kids played, wife got to write, read, and take pics, and I got to swim and explore. Got some good sun to. It was an amazing day for sure!

Sounds like an awesome time. Glad you guys had fun.

Well that was bizarre. Took a late breakfast/early lunch with friends on the harbour and then off to the Seaside Summer Fair to sit around in the blazing sun and watch some pretty decent live bands. Then on the way home whilst looking for somewhere to eat we saw that some live wrestling was going on at a hotel close by. So off we went drunk as skunks to what can only be described as a surreal blend of 70s-style TV wrestling, a pantomime and a medieval bear baiting pit. Words cannot adequately deal with what I witnessed. Still, the beer was cheap. :D

Left there confused but in hysterics and found a fantastic Thai restaurant to round off the day. Magic. 👍

Really fun, went over to a friends for a party.

Before I went to bed I decided to see if I could play Forza 4 drunk, and then I beat my old time and got top 500 on the leaderboards.

What the hell.

Warning: don't try this in real life :)

While I was on a bike ride with a friend, my front wheel randomly broke off my bike. My bike is 5 days old. Luckily, when I flipped over the handlebars, the bike somehow managed to get itself lodged between the two tree to the side of the trail, so it didn't fall on me. Would not like a pedal to the head. This was such a confusing event, I just latest on the ground and stared. There was absolutely no reason for the wheel to break like that, especially having been used only 4 of the 5 days I've owned it. The dealer we brought it from claimed the only way it could have broken is if I hit a tree, but that was honestly not the case. Though they didn't believe my story, Trek is fixing it under warranty out of the "goodness of their hearts". Such BS. Don't make wheels, or have other companies make wheels, that just break for no reason. But I was really quite fortunate. As I said earlier, it somehow caught on a tree and didn't fall on me, and I was going fairly slow. If I got more than a bad scrape on my arm, I would be livid. Marching band started today and I need my arms for drumming.

Strictly drumline or no?

Spent the last 4 hours reminiscing about the "old days"

But before I was riding my granddad's ride-on lawnmower around his garden. It was quite fun and I managed to top about 8 mph too! Down a hill.

I also found out my dad's friend is building a go kart with the engine from a Kei car (A Copen, I think) and he let me pedal it round the driveway on his farm. It was also quite fun, until the throttle stuck, turns out the throttle cable had snapped :(

Overall, a great day :D

Looking for a new motorcycle, I think i am going to buy a Hayabusa. They are pretty fast :dopey:

What do you have now?

And a Hayabusa isn't going to be any faster than a 600 in the corners.

Heck, if you put a good rider on a Ninja 250 vs average riders on Literbikes, the little 250 will wipe the floor with them.

Well I don't have anything now :D
Actually I still haven't decided between car and motorcycle. But a couple of days ago, i drove a Hayabusa and got amazed by it. And the best car I can buy with the money I have is a Civic or a E30 3.16, maybe 3.20 if i have luck. So probably, I am going to end up buying a Hayabusa or a CBR600 :dopey:
