👍👍👍 Good job man!

Thanks. :)

Started 2nd in the Bridgestone Cup Final, got the lead and held it for a few laps, but then all the faster guys got by. Had a great battle for 4th with 2 other guys, and ended up getting 4th by passing the exact same place as the last race.

Started on pole in the rookie final, and was able to pull out a big lead in the first half of the race, and was then able to take it a bit easier in the last half for the win. :D

Unfortunately, somebody had protested the result, saying that I was not a rookie anymore. (It was technically true, because I had done a few races with a vintage bike the year before.)

But you must be a pretty pathetic person to protest a kid that's only had 4 weekends on the bike, with almost no tracktime. Especially considering that this person was quite experienced with this kind of bike prior to racing.
And he's running on slicks, while I'm on DOT street tires, and he's nowhere near as quick.

There's some people that are pissed that this person did that, but they weren't surprised when they heard who did it.:indiff:

I guess I'm just going to have to kick his ass in the next class up, because busting your balls for the win and then having it taken away is a real piss off.

There's always next race though.

kick his ass

Do it. 👍

My day was interesting. Dug out an old Nikon rangefinder camera and since I was bored (my gf's busy today), I went downtown, bought three rolls of the cheapest ISO 400 color negative film available and then proceeded to wander around town and shoot one roll. In the end, it took 2 hours to get all 36 shot. Don't know when I'll hand it in for printing. I'm fairly interested in the results. It's a Nikon AF220 with a 29mm AF 1:4.5 lens. The wide angle should make for some nice shots.

Most productive day I have had in a while. Having already started creating my computing coursework program for next year I today managed to work out how to do and then create the most difficult part (working out how to create 3 equal grids of drivers where each drivers starts a race near the front middle and back, and thus each drivers starting positions are equal over the 3 races.) it was a mathematical nightmare to get it to work out how to do it and then program it. However it now works, along with having a nify report showing the grids for all races seperately however on the same report.

I also learnt Green Day, Who Wrote Holden Caulfield, on guitar. :D

Said my last goodbyes. Both were really hard. One was my friend's 11 year old son. The water works started before I even walked up to him because he already knew. That tore me up. The other was my best friend. That was hard. She's going through a tough time and I hate leaving while she's going through it. But it was also tough because our relationship has been really rocky lately after we let our hormones spill and it didn't work out. I was hoping to get closure from her about things, but alas she was really closed off from me. I just need to let that one go and give it a while before I screw things up even worse. But, all in all I just have to clean my house then I'm on my way back to Colorado. That state was pretty good to me, I'm hoping the trend picks up where it left off when I return.

Hang in there man. :nervous: :guilty:

Thanks! Moving sucks. I know I've said it before, but I'm not good with goodbyes, I hate it. I don't know why on earth I chose a life that requires me to do it every few years. I've moved seven times in the last ten years in four states. This one by far the hardest because I have family here and I honestly thought I was going to stay so I built good relationships with many good people. Curve balls man, this year has been good at them lol.

It shouldn't be too hard, I've beaten him every other time we've raced.

His brother is an ass as well, earlier in the season my Dad was signalling for me, (Standing beside the track, using hand signals to signal how far the person was behind me, 'cause you don't want to risk pushing hard and falling if you have a good sized lead.) and my weak spot was T1, so his brother is bitching about how he can't use a pitboard to tell his brother to pass in the infield.
(I was faster there anyways.)
And then he complains that my bike is SO much faster down the straight, and the thing is stock motor-wise apart from a gutted cat, slip-on pipe, air filter, and Power Commander.
They can't complain anyways when they're running on slicks and everyone else is on road legal tires.

But anyways, I'm excited about the possibility of running a Honda 250 GP bike at Mosport this year.

Pretty good, I guess. Just found out an old friend of mine just got engaged... they're only 18, they're both religious, so that must have been a major spark. Good luck to both of them though. Just shocked me. I'm basically 18 but damn, that's young..

Ehhh, feeling a little numb to be honest. My girl unfortunately said the whole "maybe we should just be friends," we had been together for a year and a bit and things were looking good but she no longer has feelings for me which is a bit of a blow but I'm just gonna deal with it.

Sorry man. I'm in the same boat. :ouch::indiff:. Such is life sometimes. It'll be alright, hang in there.

I got my braces today, and it stinks so far. I can't imagine how it'll be for the next couple of weeks, even though I expect the worst.. At least I got to choose what color the braces will be!

You get used to it within a few days. After a week or so you probably won't even feel any different than you did before you had braces. Just try not to eat beef jerkey with them.

Yeah, I'll definitely get used to it soon enough.

Straight ****ed! My computer is so slow and took over 24 straight hours to reinstall the OS. It is now just as slow to possibly slower than before. I was pissed when i woke up and it wasn't done so I decided I'll open my window. I open it all the time for years it's really simple with two locks and just slide it open. I undo the locks and attempt to slide it but for some reason it won't open. I try harder but still nothing. I play with the locks again to make sure it's open and it seems like it is. Finally it starts to open a tiny bit and I look down at the track annnnnd of course it's now broken. Now the window is jammed. No idea how this problem is even possible. I try to stay cool and go get some food. I decided on making eggs. I open the egg carton and somehow 5 ****ing eggs are already broken. Seriously wtf at this point. My bed is awful and I need a new one too. Now it's looking like I might have to spend around 5k to buy new or fix all these problems. I am hoping it can't get worse.

My day was rather interesting...

We have alot of stray cats running around at my grandma's farm, one of them is a little kitten my sister named Darling and she loves to follow us everywhere we go(literally). I was in my pool with my brother, my sister and my mom and that little kitten actually climbed the ladder to our pool, got in and started swimming with us! Didn't seem to have a problem with swimming at all, it just wanted to be around us. :) Talk about cute, it was amazing!:D That kitten must really like us! That totally made my day! :D I hope it happens again! :dopey:

Finally found some good footing in a band. Good guitarists, good bassist... In other word, my brother, my brother's friend, and another guitarist. :D They wanted me on drums, but I feel much more comfortable with my ability in vocals. So a good day after all. :D

This band means business too... If we find a drummer. :banghead: Our rhythm guitarist can find get us into gigs because he's been in another band previously. And I can contact the venue I've been getting work experience from the last few months to get a gig there if need be as well. For now we're just a covers band, and we're putting Foo Fighters (Everlong, and Break Out), Velvet Revolver (Slither), ACDC (Hells Bells) into our lineup at the moment. It seems promising, however promises can be broken, so I'll just see how things go. Got a practice session on Saturday.

Also today, I had 6 hours of school, 3 of those spent on break because I had study spell 3rd (which is pretty much just an hour of no class) and 3rd spell is just after a 40 minute break. 4th spell was Path spell because it was Wednesday (path spell is the most pointless class in existence. An hour of sitting around in your form class doing nothing). So 2 classes free, a 40 minute break, and then the 20 minute afternoon break!

Sheesh I'm lazy... Well not lazy, because I went to the park!! :P

Leaving Ohio tonight. What a crazy move. Then again anytime you move from some place you know you might never see again is weird.

Had an awesome night. Hooked up with a good friend of mine and headed out to the local drag strip and had a grand old time. Took his '98 Corolla 1.8 5 speed manual down the strip 4 times just to see what it would do. 3 times he ran a solid 12.0 and the last of the night he managed to squeeze an 11.65 with a 2.98 60ft time and clocked 61mph at the light. Didn't think it was too bad for having near 200,000 miles on it. I also recorded this pass on my iPod. The track is a 1/8th mile. We raced a guy in a '98 Civic 1.6 but lost both tomes because we messed up 3rd and the second time we forgot the ebrake was on lol. Had to wait almost an hour to do the last 2 runs because someone went down the track for the first time and missed a turn at the end and smashed head on into a tree. Topped it off with some McDonalds on the way home.

Here is the 11.6 run. Language at the end. I filmed it.

OMG do I dislike moving but, I have to day today was one of the best moves I've ever made. I was prepared. I had most of my stuff packed and ready. I was out of my old place completely and in the new one shortly after lunch time. Now all that's left is a little clean up and lots of unpacking!!

There was a split second there when I thought that was in the quarter.

And that would totally be my reaction at the end.

I was waiting for someone to think that haha. It was a good run lol.

It was alright. I went to a car meet a couple of hours ago. Saw a lot of beautiful muscle cars, and a couple of cool JDM's. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any pics, thanks to my cousin dragging me all over the place. I saw a CANADIAN classic though.... first time. I had never seen that before it was a 1950 Monarch. Car for Canadians made by Ford of Canada. Basically, a Canadian Mercury Coupe. Saw some Chevelles, a Nova on drag radials, a Fox Body Turbo V8 Mustang on drag radials, an El Camino on 30" Rims with a GNX on 30's next to it. Saw two identical '69 'Maro's, only different was that one had a vinyl roof. Saw rat rods, and hot rods, saw Ducati's, Aprilla's, Suzuki's (Busa), Fiat's (Sprinter... or something along those lines.), Yamaha G6's, Triumph's, Harley's. Nissan GTR's, Lambo's, M-Badge Bimmers, Gold Chrome Gallarado and Gold Chrome DB7, Underground Racing Gallarado, Firebird's, Scion FRS-12's (About 8 of them. They found each other). Pontiac GTO 2006 Model :(, and a lot of other cars.

There was a Beetle section.... there were 8 Beetle's. Then VW Type-2's came in (10 of them) then one Kharmann Ghia came in, very sexy in real life. All of this, and a lot more I cant describe at..... Costco/ Rona

So yeah.... had a lot of fun, but no pics for the “Have You Seen Anything Interesting", and “Questionable Modifications” Threads.

I posted a couple days ago my computer is so slow. I did all I could but only option is buy a new hard drive and install it myself. It's an imac so this isn't the easiest process. I decided screw it and bought a whole new computer instead. It murders my old one. Its 3.6GHz quadcore, 8gb but soon to be 32gb of ram, 27 inch imac. I'm pissed I had to buy it but also pretty excited. Ships to me next week.

I got a few things that I ordered today. One of them "slightly" defective because it was hidden behind the flower pots. I didn't know what it was and completely left out there. The rain came down hard and it just stopped and now I have a book that is soaked. I think I may keep it as long as I can dry it out.
