Just got in an accident in the Scooby I'm just glad I'm OK and the work said everything is good there still.

On the first day of the brand new job? Harsh. Glad you're OK, I hope things get right back on track for you.

Today I started a new full-time job too, actually. I've done it before, but only part-time and there weren't enough contracts to support my payroll. It's sorta relevant to automotive enthusiasm, so I might create my first FP thread to share. But I don't want to drop a big post in the middle of this thread.

In any case, I was in and out in an hour, and have the rest of the day to relax and play FM4, which is nice. I start fieldwork tomorrow.

Crazy day for me. Got into work this morning and had about 400 orders to be shipped.( damn you holiday season!) A typical day is about 100ish orders. Tomorrow will be a better day, Im going to pick up an 32" LCD after work :)

Pretty lazy...only real highlights were playing Rock Band 3 and researching stuff on the Honda S2000 I'll hopefully be buying next August.

Pretty quiet in my place now, only valeted (read detailed for Americans :P) two cars yesterday, today looks like its going to be much of the same, but I did get my headlights alined for MOT on Saturday

S2000 next year? Very nice man. That'd be a fun car to own. I'd like one some day.

Day was pretty good for me. Forgot it was Friday actually. I have Thursdays off but worked my old job a half day for cash so it really messed with my week. I went to run some errands after work cause I need a flexible pen light and a new set or wrenches for work. Couldn't find a decent light but found an $80 set of Craftsman wrenches today for a whole $30. And when I checked out, I got $10 off so they only cost me $20. $20 for ratcheting wrenches is a good deal for Harbor Freight junk but a steal for Craftsman.
But I think the thermostat just died in my car today. I have slowly gotten less and less heat in the car but now the engine doesn't want to get anywhere near operating temp. Good timing too cause it's only like 25 degrees Fahrenheit outside and I have no heat. I will probably wait till Monday to fix it after work so I can do it inside and stay warm while working.

Should be sweet...certainly a step up from my current '94 Accord lol. I was thinking either an S2K or a Teardrop WRX but the S2000 is a lot more unique round here.

Great!! Just bought tickets for the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona on July 7th!! :D

My first ever Nascar race and it will be the first time ever being at Daytona International Speedway.

CAN'T WAIT!!

Went out of bed early to compete in a mountainbike match, but due to the bad weather it's cancelled :( So now I'm home again, don't know what to do.. xD

Edit:
Went for a quick check to the Opel dealer for my car, and there was this:

They are going to call me later today for a test drive..... :embarrassed:

My day was good. My Pro Beats broke though.:( Good news is that when I came home from work, my new but old at the same time Nike Air Force 1's were sitting on my door step. Also I guess I own a 2002 Tacoma now.

That's a pretty decent trek. GL!

She's got some nice lines and beautiful curves.

Me- I just got home from work. Busy which is nice and I got a decent amount of work done. I am trying to hide out from my boss though but I don't know for how long. I doubt I will be able to for the few weeks I want to. He said last week before Christmas that we'd have a talk today. I assume it is about me getting into the union at work but that comes with some heavy dues up front. Well, it ain't bad, like $150-200 I believe, but I am only hoping to be there at the minimum 5-6 more weeks and that's a lot to choke down if I am basically paying to keep my job. I suspect if I ask to be put on a 30 day reevaluation that I'd be able to keep my job and would get fired on the spot. But if I am in the union, it is really hard to get fired so if I put in my 2 week notice in a month or so, I don't have to worry about losing work. Which makes me think I should just remind him and pay the dues to guarantee my job for a little longer.

Got our kitchen finished!

A nice little before and after for you:

Tomorrow I'm setting up mine and my girlfriend's consoles with the new TV and Tivo. We'll end up with 2 PS3s, 2 360s and a PS2 for gaming on  She's got her own Alienware dual screen setup upstairs too!

Nice kitchen!!! Really like the color of the 'wood'! But, is that a washing machine??

I had some fun today!

Yes, it's a washer dryer. That section of the under counter area was designed for it, the builders left holes in the wall to plumb it in 👍 It's a common thing in the UK to have a washing machine in the kitchen!

Also got our internet up and running. 30mb download, 3mb upload, 18ms ping :D

Five is a lot?

I have an NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Genesis, PSX, PS2, and Xbox 360. I can also sometimes borrow my sister's PS3; my fiancée loves Little Big Planet. :)

Meh is all I can say. Funny thing though, I was walking through the shop today and a customers car had the license plates "Forza 5". Thought that was funny. Gotta get dibs on that plate early I guess. Not sure if I can post the photo or not so for now I won't.

In my eyes definitely, I have a PS2, and a PC (that can count as a console in a way, it plays games). And there is a PS3 in the house.

 We're both big gamers so it was bound to happen.

But why one each? :odd:

I had a good day. Got my schoolwork done, slept when I got home, but man I have to cheer up. I have no reason to be sad, yet I am. What is it that is bugging me that I can't figure out?

Not very exciting. Today is a big milestone as I turned 30 today. But woke up having a really bad dream about my party this weekend. Rough start. And work is slow. No one is coming in and I am the last one in they shop to get work so I've booked like an hour and its nearly noon.

But some good news. Not received today but have yet to share it. I got into the BMW training program in April. I'm excited. More school and more experience and ill be making a lot more money when I get out. Wish April came sooner.

Today, er, yesterday was alright. I was kind of questioning whether or not my being home was good, considering some slight family issues that arose between my brother and parentals because of some prior arrangement to get snow machines tagged and ready for ice fishing.

Looked at the job board, nothing in regards to jobs that I can apply for. So, I attempted to get stuff done around the house and continued frequenting sites and forums. I'm hoping something will come up so I can get somewhere.

In the meantime, it's back to attempting to better my musical skills (so to speak, as I work primarily in DAWs and piano rolls).

Had a nice day yesterday... No, not really... It was sort of annoying to be quite honest. I watched an episode of MLP. Then at 10 AM headed out to the kitchen for breakfast; look out window; hear the insane wind, and rain; see 5 meter tall tree leaning dangerously over fence that holds all the stock in the paddock. Wait what!? my brother, mother and I all rushed out (my dad wasn't home and my sister is too scared of the rain; and wasn't even awake. And she considers herself to be the most manly... Pfft). We got some straps we could find to hold it upright from the southerly winds. But as soon as we do that, and we have no more straps (we only had 1 or 2 in the first place). Then guess what happens! The wind changes direction, so I stay home while the others head out for more straps (took an hour to get into town; buy straps and come back). An hour later the tree's roots are broken. And it's only held up by the strap from before (the wind had gone back to being a Southerly now). We took until about 1 PM fixing up the tree. Then we head in for a drink. Then at about quarter past... The power goes out. :grumpy: Since we had no power the house just got colder and colder (without electricity from computers; lights; fridge; etc. The house had no warmth enhancers). Then finally at about 4. It comes back on. Then I spent the rest of the day cabbaging around the house. It really wasn't much fun but we did our jobs well enough. :sly: And that's my day in a nutshell... Almost.

How was my day you ask? It was rather well. I woke up a 1pm. Left my sister's house at 3pm, and Dad bought me a root beer. I feel proud that I didn't drink any alcohol when I was there for the week. Was offered Vodka but I said no thanks. I got home and just relaxed, ate supper, then talked to my brother on facebook (he lives 4 hours away), and played some NHL 06 and dominated on medium difficulty, I'll try difficult tomorrow after bowling. I've had a fun and happy week. I hope it'll finish off the same tomorrow. Till then this is SGTR_2 signing off, good night. Have fun and be safe fellow members.

How was my day yesterday? Short. Considering I was up from 7am-5pm. I then slept till 10pm. Woke up, ate greasy pizza, the proceeded to stay up till 3:30am. I then woke up at 6:30am, got ready for school, and hopped on the bus which I am on now. That's my last 24 hours.

Yesterday: Was busy as hell. I compare it to a chicken running around in circles with its head cut off. I love this, I have work from all classes that I have to do all at once, it makes me prioritize. Prioritizing is one area I suck at, so getting the chance to improve on it is a good thing.
