Thats just stupid comparing them to the veyron. I would be suprised if they are even road legal. The veyron is the best car ever made because it can hit 60mph in 2.5sec and go on to 253mph in comfort and without having the engine to be rebuilt every time you hit full throttle. Just watch this video and you will realise why this car is so amazing.

JUN AKIRA Boneville Supra

Top speed = 249.292 MPH
Engine = 3.2 Liter 2JZGTE with two TRUST T78 turbochargers
Power = 1200 HP

:)

 Number of cylinders has absolutely nothing to do with acceleration. Can my car out drag an Integra Type R 'cos its only got 4 cylinders to my 6?

Your right, cylinders do not matter in acceleration. Whoever thought so was told wrong.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Barabus TKR

0-60: 1.67 Seconds

270mph top speed

Twin-Turbo 6.0L V-8 producing 1005bhp

And about half the price of the Veyron. But I have my doubts that this car makes its way into the game. And yes it is a production car.

It basically looks like a Saleen S7 front end fused with a Zonda rear end. The back end is not attractive at all haha. But it would more than likely beat the Veyron like a redheaded stepchild.

Nobody mentioned it because it doesn't do anything that it claims. Barabus got called out by a few people, disappeared, and came back under a new name touting the same claims & the same car, with a spoiler added on.

That's crazy. I haven't heard that anywhere. Where did you find that out?
Ferrarichat had a decent thread on it, with 1 member asking Barabus at the Top Marques Monaco show. The builders couldn't give him a direct answer, and shortly afterwards, their website was gone.

They came back a few months later under as Keating, with the same name & introduced the SKR as a "more tame" version.

There hasn't been any news at all though, despite that the first cars are supposed to be done by now or close to.

The only thing that makes me think they still could be around is this being the new TKR with a 1600Hp claim.

However, they have still yet to do any sort of test....

How about a Top Fuel dragster
681.01.jpg

"The calculated Power output of these engines is most likely somewhere between 7000 and 8500 horsepower (approximately 4500-6000 kilowatts), with a torque output of 8135 N·m (ca. 6000 lbf·ft)" via Wikipedia 0-60 in about 0.9 seconds, 4 second 1/4 mile.

If it is in the game, The Koenigsegg CCX. If it tops out @260MPH like it does in Shift, then I would drag against the Veyron with it.

nice to see a good old McLaren F1 GTR beating up that Veyron on ½mile run, so I think its safe to say that the veyron could easily be beaten by that car on the ¼mile run.
Also, the McLaren is 13 years old and still beat a lot of today's cars :D

Be a bit realistic if you think GT5 will add Top Fuel cars or Funny Cars:grumpy:

I must agree the Mclaren is a premiere sports car that could actually keep up with the Veryon.👍

I will be as I have with every GT build at least one 8 second R33 Skyline GTR (hopefully hit a 7 this time :D )

On the topic of cars that will probably never be built, but would be fun to have - is this: the Vector WX-8. If it won't happen in real life - which lets face it, it will never, ever be on sale (However other Vectors have made it....barely.) - it would be amazing to have in a video game. I mean, if you can't drive it in real life, might as well make someones dream come true and they get to drive it in a game.

Photo and "Specs"

Apparently they are aiming for 2,000+ horsepower with the big block.

More realistically, I would probably like to see how fast the Veyron is compared to dedicated race cars, from various different series.

I'd wonder if you can tune the Veyron?

You would get some pretty impressive figures if you could.

I recon I would be able to completely ruin all Bugatti and VW's had work in one GT sitting. Tune the hell out of it and make it undrivable! 👍

Dido 👍👍!

In GT PSP the Veyron can do 8.9 second QM. About a second and a bit too fast compared to real life. Shame really. Hope it is not that fast in the full version of GT5 as it is a little unrealistic.
