I only received a pair of Tom's shoes.

I spent more on myself though:

ASUS 24" 2ms monitor I totally didn't need.
Parts to build a computer I totally didn't need to have.

- Auto Glym Smart Wash System pack (Twin Chamber bucket, Bodywork Shampoo, Clean Wheels, Fast Glass, Rapid Aqua Wax, microfibre wash mitt and two microfibre cloths)

- Rubber floor mats

- Cordless drill and LED worklamp

- Watch_Dogs 2

- Final Fantasy XV

How many instruments do you play? I've only barely tried to get past the trombone, and even then, the trumpet I play is my school's instrument.

I play all of the brass instruments professionally (tuba not very often because I don't own one), plus keyboard and aux percussion in a funk band I play in. I'm slowly learning bass guitar and I hope to add guitar, drums, and violin to that eventually.

Wow, that's a lot. I don't think I could get all of that down under my fingers.

A new cell phone that's as big as a brick. And 21 scratch tickets. Of which, only one was a winner and it was for $1.00. :banghead:
A free dollar is a free dollar, it can be spent in most of the world. 👍
Plus you got a taste of the thrill of gambling. Add that to the joy of being old enough to drink & a whole world of addiction could be your oyster. :scared:

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Oh, I forgot to receive the credit card statement of this month which said I had to pay 48,000 yen...

Just a friendly reminder, I'm upholding my no-alcohol policy regardless of circumstance.

If I wanted to gamble, I'd go play Call of Duty and see how long it takes until someone starts cussing at me.

I got some clothes, two GameStop gift cards, a portable jumpstarter, floor mats for the Audi, the Fallout 4 Deluxe Vinyl Soundtrack (from my gf) and a freaking kayak!

I asked for no gifts* and my wife agreed but she still got me a beach towel, my father in law gave us a $100 Gold Class Village Cinema voucher for the both of us.

*I'm a bit of a Grinch, couldn't care less about Xmas or gifts, I rather buy them myself... I do like the days off though.

I got a pretty cool Dutch flip calendar from my typographer brother, a book about the different specs of De Havilland Mosquitoes and a "paper aeroplane a day" thing from my sister, cash from the rest of my family that went into the Asus PG279Q I ordered on Friday (out of stock until February but I knew if I didn't order it now I'd waste the money on games and takeaways) and I was also gifted Fallout 4 and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor by two people I've never met.

I received all sorts of goodies that I don't really deserve, I guess that's the spirit of a holliday I don't always understand. There is no reason for me to brag about any of that part however...

I bought myself a fancy set of blizzard skis, I did this as a gift to my oldest daughter. You see when I was in my 20's I had kids and decided there were many aspects of my life I had to stop in order to maintain my newly found responsibility. She has always known my prowess on the big sticks, seen photos etc. so.....

I took her to Taos and she not only saw her dad in his old days glory but also snowboarded right next to him, it was all so sweeeet.

Merry xmas and happy new year to all that realize why we have such a special opportunity to give and receive from the ones we love.

Finally got this bad boy for a grand total of $1.72 at BB&B after coupons and a few gift cards. Thank you clearance god.

I got a new pair of shoes and one of those cheapo VR headsets that you could get on Amazon. I am quite thankful that I've got anything at all, really. Man, growing up sucks
