Just recently I've been informed that it actually wasn't Kunos who developed Assetto Corsa Competitione.
According to Assetto Corsa forums it was a co-development studio d3t:
https://d3tltd.com/assetto-corsa-competizione-news/#:~:text=We can finally reveal that, new platforms and new audiences.
Of course, Kunos Simulazioni is behind of it all and is responsible for the product. But anyway, one could say the optimization of ACC is result of someone else's work.
From Assetto Corsa forums:
https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/...izione-2020-generic-discussion.60715/page-236
In the first post of the page a Kunos dev explains the development collaboration.
It is quite interesting that this collaboration between the two studios hasn't been brought up visibly before. At least I have missed this information.
Or am I the only one who didn't know this?
