So, who's got all 60 Golds in their licence tests yet?

To be honest, I found IC - 1 the hardest test to gold in the game, so don't get too dis-heartened if you are struggling.

I found the super licence tests disappointingly easy to gold.

Which one was IC-1?

Yeah, it was not diffficult too much to be honest.

Now, what IS difficult are some golds in Special Events lounge. Lotus on Top Gear. AMG challenges. Those are hard really, I have no idea what will happen with some later ones, I only got to LV16 by doing only licences and Events. Golds in Licences were easy :)

Yes, the lotus one is particularly tough.

I golded all the B licenses today. B5 & 6 we're hard as hell. One of them the time to beat 18.400 seconds (I think) and on one go my time was 18.404 .

Thanks for the tip about TC. Gonna switch it off for the next set of licenses and see how I do.

I'm taking my time playing all the different modes. Right now I only have my B License, all golds except in B-5. I missed a shift at the end because I was celebrating and was .039 to slow.

Ah that one. Very difficult, still don't understand how with TC off, on a wet road, full throttle start is the quickest. That was the big difference in me being able to do it. Must be that Skid Recovery thing.

If anyone has golded I-C 1, did you do it without ABS?

You have to have ABS or you simply won't stop. You just have to be pinpoint perfect, had about half a tenth to spare in the end. Floor it at the start (TC off, makes no difference) then pick your braking point about 5 metres in to the penultimate white line down the middle.

IC-1 is in the dry. I think its IB-1 in the wet 400m in a GTR you are thinking of, I did that one first time.

I got gold on it without ABS, you also have to pay attention to your launch. Full throttle isn't the best way, in first gear, shift up 100rpm above red line, after that, try and make all shifts about 200 below redline, its worth about a tenth on just the straight.

'Cos I'm up late watching the cricket.

I used the no-ABS trick on the DB9. (I remember it properly now)

Hmm, with all these times getting posted, I think its about time GoldJunkies made a re-appearance. :D

only one i didnt manage get gold was in b license where you had to slipstream throu an audi tt. but i never managed haha.

I am moving in on my 3rd license soon. Others were pretty easy, even with a d-pad. Only one test had me do it about 30 times. I was always .001-.010 away from the time. It was annoying to get right with a controller. But, what ever. It's done now (golds). Been doing that and special events to start off with.

Took your advice; barely made it. 26.699:scared:

I didn't find IC-1 very difficult, I managed it in less than 10 tries using ABS 1 and like Steve says, not full throttle off launch, and then not 100% brakes at the end, I managed to come to a rapid stop using about 90% brakes eventually. The clue is in the description when it says you have to judge how much braking force to apply I think 👍

I found B-8(?), the Nurburgring Dunlop hairpin amongst the most difficult.

Gold now on A, B and IC, cannot wait to start IB tomorrow.

For anyone who hasn't yet reached IC-10, it's an absolutely unforgettable treat. What a game

All the best

Ehh i never really try with the tests. I usually just silver or bronze threw them all. Im at the S license now. Seems like leveling up is the main test of this game...

I get too fustrated trying to Gold them all straight away. I'll get them one day... Currently on IA which I'll finish up tomorrow.

Oh dear...that Nurburgring one took me 20 tries or so to get Gold. Basically don't follow the driving line. Brake a bit later to about 105~ km/h, turn in, hit the apex further into the corner, while maintaining minimum 90km/h speed throughout the turn and you should be able to clear it Gold. If you have the APEX book, check out Page. 55, Diagram 55-3, but in opposite direction of the diagram.

bleh, IC-1 on my third try I was able to get to .703 and was stuck on there for like 30 mins getting down to .701
I have no clue what I did different but when I got gold I beat the time by like .200
It was to say the least really frustrating. FU! IC-1
