So, who's got all 60 Golds in their licence tests yet?

Almost there.

What was up with that test with the Evora in IA?
I beat the gold by .500 the first time.

Another thing I noticed is your level prevents purchasing not driving the cars.

I found the super licence tests disappointingly easy to gold.

This has been the case for me for every GT game. I chalk it up to them giving you more lee-way for mistakes on a whole lap, compared to the sections of tracks in most other tests (assuming S is still built on full-lap tests, that is).

You know what I really don't like? Pink Boxsters that can't get out of the way!

For the guys that have all gold'd the licenses:

Would one of you be a dear and give us a list of the prize cars for bronze/silver/gold in each respective license?

Ive seen the prizes for N-B and N-A from Amar's pre-release thread, but so far searching has turned up zilcho.

Im working over in oz just now whilst my CE, 6x stealth car codes and new 320GB slim are sitting in my room in Aberdeen waiting for me, and i wont be back for another 2 weeks :ouch:

I quite honestly couldn't care less about the fact that they will be spoilers (use the spoiler tags if you are going to put a list up to protect the mentally unstable) as i find knowing what i could get for taking the time to all gold as an incentive to actually do it.

I used to be one that would race through licenses and just go with whatever i got first time around, now though, id actually quite like to get all golds and the prize cars that go with them!

Would be much appreciated guys 👍

I could give you that list, as I JUST completed all licences in gold, but first I gotta open up a new thread ok?

You do that alex :)

Gimme 30 minutes please, that should be enough.

I confused the order a bit, but most of it is accurate:

Edit: MAJOR SPOILERS: B-licence: B: S-Mazda Demio Sport '03, S: P-Daihatsu OFC-1 Concept '07, G: S- Tommy Kaira ZZ-S '00
A-licence: B: S-Nissan Micra mm-R Cup Car '01, S: S-Mazda Atenza Concept '01, G: S: Opera Performance S2000 '04
IC-licence: B: S-Acura DN-X Concept '02, S: S-Autobacs Garaiya '02, G: P-Isuzu 4200R Concept '89
IB-licence: B: P-Mazda Eunos Roadster J-Limited (NA) '91, S: S-Nissan GT-R Concept (TMS '01), G: S-Mitsubishi HSR-2 Concept '89
IA-licence: B: S-Honda S800 RSC Race Car '68. S: S-Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi Quad Bab '04, G: S-Land Rover Range Stormer Concept '04
S-licence: B: P-Go-cart(should be given in the B licence), S: S-Ford GT (no stripes) '05, G: P-Nissan GT-R SpecV (GT Acedemy Version) '09

EDIT 2: I just checked the list one more time, I believe there is some mistake there, but don't panic, the only car, which is worth to get gold is for goldening all S-licences and I have that car right.

Gold on N-B and N-A so far... found A3 (Cone Slalom) to be the most difficult so far... until I decided to look at it differently with my minds eye. :)

NA-8 (Nurb S curve) is easier than it may seem... you can go through the left hander with more speed than it looks like you can.

Not looking forward to these wet acceleration/braking tests based on what i've read.

Guys I tell ya there is one licence test, which is SO much harder than any else, it's where you drive with a Nissan Sedan on La Sarthe and brake hard at the end of the straight and than the sharp right-turner, believe me, you will spend A LOT of time with it, if you want it gold.

Yea, this one is miserable. I've been trying for even just silver and im stuck at 38.880. Everytime i get a good run, i screw it up at the final 90.

Edit: And first try after typing this i took it down to 38.723. WOOHOO

Lolz, I assume you're playing with a controller?

Important is to brake as late as possible and not to steer too much while doing that, than gently letting off the brake and going through the corner as perfectly as you can without wheelspin or too much bodyroll, that should do it, that's how it worked for me at least and I play with a wheel.

Edit: Oh btw. today I'm gonna upload my gold replay here:https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=133610 , so check it out. :sly:

B,A,IC,IB are gold.

Working on the IA now. So far the hardest ones i have found are the damn acceleration tests.. trying to launch and find the exact right braking marker!!

IA, overall seen, is the hardest one, S is much much easier.

Yep, using the controller. I tried a few wheels but i just can't get a hang of them the way i can the controller.

Done, Golded all IA.

Now I need to raise my level by 1, Then onto S!!

The trick with all the ones where you have to pass the cars is just knowing which lines to take.

I've only got through 17 tests so far, gold on all. FYI guys, if you TIE a target time, you get that reward. I tied the gold time on my first run of A-6 and got the gold.

how the hell do you guys have the patience to get ALL golds in the tests? i can barely squeeze out all golds in the b tests alone.
i actually need 4 golds in b then have my first all gold license.

lol, props to those that actually get the golds, wish i had as much skill/luck/PATIENCE as some of you guys.

I hope the golds are achieveable with a Pad....

Because i'm wondering if PD have restricted my control over the car, though I did just play Arcade mode and track creator yesterday, even with all AIDS off, I can feel the game "Helping' me a little, like F1 2010.

Can someone confirm they've got golds with a Pad? & Wether the restrictions emplaced for beggining reasons & that wheel users contend with them at first too......

Hehe... reason I don't know myself yet, I didn't start Career at all yesterday!

I'll post here when I'm done: halfway through I-A, though I can say that once this license is done, S will fall quicker. My DFP was acting up so I'm stuck with the DS3 for the time being.

Only done National B so far but am on 8/10 Gold. I need B-5 and B-7 I think. I'm new to GT and racing games in general so was pretty pleased to have so many golds already.

Working on A right now, I did all of B Gold earlier then played some Halo for a few hours, now I am back at it and half way through A, I am hoping to have them all Gold before bed. :)

Golded up to IB licence so far with a pad, so yes it is possible, if a little challenging. Requires a lot of patience-the cone slalom test took me a long long time-the DS3 just doesn't have the precision you need to really nail that. Must've spent an hour or more just shaving hundreds of a second off my time until i got it below the gold level.

I did National A & B all gold except Schuhmacher S (B-9), i always turn Traction Control, ASM and Skid Recovery off and even ABS if it's an old car.. i'm playing with G25 in Simulation Mode ! But i don't have the patience anymore.. they should make it easier to repeat the license so you don't have to wait all the time !

have fun everyone, i'm already having nightmares of GT5.. played like 30h this week and skipped work..
