So, who's got all 60 Golds in their licence tests yet?

Wow, lots of people with all 60 gold now. Thoughts on putting a list in the first post? If so, should I be asking for evidence?

I think something is wrong in that list I have no bronzes and some of the car there I didn`t get.

They all seem correct to me.

I can assure you, that I have 7 Golds and 3 Silves in the S license, and I have no Ford GT.

For IC-10, I believe by turn 6 on the first lap if you can't get into 3rd place then you won't be able to catch the last car. Start taking the inside line and late braking helps a lot. Also in my experience, I didn't pass the last car till the last turn before the goal line.

Thanks for the tip! will be trying it again tonight! Late braking but better t-boned by the AI cars causing me to DQ quite a bit as well

That's weird, I never got t-boned. I just late braked and took the inside and kept slipstreaming every portion I could. Good Luck!

I started on this series with GT5P and got GT5 yesterday. Boy, licence tests are hard :)

Managed to get all gold on B and a mix of silver and gold in A. The slalom one (with Mini cooper) was a bit tough. Then in a stroke of genius (if I say so my self :) ) I switched to external view. Managed to get silver (very close to gold) on the second try. Since you see the cones and the car, you can cut really close to them easily.

I finished all of the B license in gold yesterday, started on A. Blazed through up till B-7 where my steering wheel broke. Is it just me or is the game alot more challenging with a controller.

I still can't get B-2. Yes, I know the driving line, watched Stune's tutorial, etc... but I can't even get silver after was has to have been 50 tries... I don't remember it being this bad!

I have got 11 golds, 11 silver and 18 bronze however I always come back when I feel I have more experience and feel i'm a better driver :) Got up to international B so far.

I've set myself a more realistic goal (for me) of getting at least silver in all the license tests - I'm having major problems with the A-license cone slalom at the moment. I'm 1.5s off the silver time.

Floor it and don't follow the line too closely, I cut close to the cones, I almost always hit the cones because it's hard to judge the car's width in bumper cam IMO. The only times I didn't the cones were the times I got silver, and later on gold.

Just curious how often do yall retry to get a gold? I mean this seems like a 4+ hour endeavor to get all gold in all license
Gold A and B I knew I could do so I retried as many times as I needed to , some I got stuck on and had to redo a lot (some I spent 30 mins+ on, some I got first shot). The International I don't know yet, I haven't started but I think I may not stick to them as long and just give up.

Chalk me up... just finished the final one, S10 :B

A lot easier than previous GT games... though a G27 and a load more experience may have some influence on that. I started at 6.30pm last night, had 7 hours sleep and had to run some special events to get the neccessary levels for the higher licenses... so I guess about 12 hours total seat time.

We will need to decide how to provide proof at some stage.

Edit...

Licenses are displayed on your profile page... so I'm guessing a picture of that will do a verification...

For people struggling for gold on the Schumacher 'S' Curve test:

I did it by going full throttle and dipping my back wheels in the grass/run off strip on the right hand side before taking that first left. If you get the right spot, it will turn your car and slow it enough for you to continue with your foot down.

My time was 18.774 - Good luck, it's a nasty one!

Ive stuck with my same method. Go through and only do each test a maxium of three times and come back to them much later to clean up gold. So far taking silver for every thing and gold in a few. I want to play the game more than the licenses :P

I only did B so far and I used your method. I just didn't want to spend a half hour on one particular test. I think I have 4 golds 5 silvers and a bronze. I'll go back later and get the golds. I really wanted to try some other parts of the game. So far the most challenging parts for me were the second Jeff Gordon challenge (Bronze so far) and the Beginner TGTT challenge (Damn Samba Bus)

Just golded my way through A. Suprisingly I found them easier then the B tests. Only one that really had me stuck was the "Cone Slalom". The trick to it is to think one cone ahead and don't slide around too much.

Bring on IC :)

if it has already been posted, apologies but could not find it. Is there a car difference in getting all golds as opposed to 9 golds and 1 silver? If there is, has anyone heard if it is a dramatic difference? Just getting tired of trying to get all golds if I will get the same car regardless of the trophies (all bronze for example). Thanks

Who of you out there with 60 golds achieved it with the controller? Just curious how doable it is.

It is doable.. I know at least one person on this board who finsihed them off this morning. Sure he'll post at some stage.

Golded B and A. I really cursed up a storm on a few of them. I don't like doing the same test 10 times in a row.

Thank you, I'll try that when I play GT5. I'm not sure how many times I have tried that one. :(
