You need to slipstream the cars ahead of you. Meaning, stay behind them as much as possible, then pull to the side of them and pass. Do this for each car and you will get this Gold in no time.


Just wanted to post up that my stubborn ass refused to play anything else until I got gold on the B-License. I've played the GT series, but was never good. Bought a Driving Force GT and damn it was fun getting Golds.

So as of now, I have 10 Golds and it feels good.

I have Mostly Golds on my 'A' and 'B' Licenses, The only one i don't have is the Start and Stop 400m, Its driving me INSANE! Anyone got any tips? :)

I used the timer as a guide to brake... Just adjusted the time I slammed on the anchors if I finished too short or vise versa. I pretty much stuck with the ghost every time until braking point, so it was easier to adjust my braking point further down the track.
That was in manual, with all aids off apart from ABS=1.
 
Ive gotten all golds in the licences B, A and IC plus the beginner and intermediate top gear special events. I am finding the AMG driving school quite hard. The hardest challenge in the licences thoughs IC-10. It took me about an hour and a half to get gold! :crazy: I am quite dissapointed with the prize cars so far. Can anyone reveal what all the prize cars are for the licences please? I want to know if it is worth the effort in getting golds for all the challenges.

YES! Just got Gold on IC-10. Took me a while, but I got it :) At 30 Golds now, half way there! I never move on to the next challenge till I have Gold :) My DFPro is doing me well.

Same here, got Gold on B, A and IC, and like you, I don't move on until I get gold! Tomorrow I'll try the other 3 licenses, I need to reach lv 15 to buy the new Viper 👍

Woot finally 60 Gold. S License was way to easy, although the last event was pretty damn fun. :)

I have all gold in A,B and 9 golds in IC

IC-3 I plaguing me, I think I need more speed through turn 1. I'll try again tonight and just Gun it over the apex and swing the back out.
 
is the only way to get gold on IC-1 to get it bob on 26.700 ive got it at 26.708 (alot of times very close to that too) but was right on the edge of the stopping section.
 
I'm not doing bad at all i think but I have always hated the fact that with some licenses Since GT4 I seem to come .5 away from getting gold knowing that I have gotten gold and have crossed the line ahead of my ghost car thus improving on my time, but the game has other ideas about you progressing with that Gold cup. Sometimes what I do is leave it for another day and go back to it and I usually get the Gold I wanted and have dont that successfully.

33 Golds 16 silvers and 1 bronze.......but dont like bronze medals because they look like copper and just plain tacky, so I strive for the most Golds and the least Silvers.

The best advice I can give is to adjust the traction control for those of you using a game pad and be smooth but agressive on some tests and if you get fustrated leave it and go back to it later.
 
All Gold on A&B so far. Havent started on the rest yet. I noticed a huge improvement on my times when I realised I could switch to Manual and Turned off the Driving Line.
 
Out of all the licenses, IC was the hardest imo. Everything else was pretty easy even Super was -_-.
 
After getting 30 golds yesterday, I said I'd get the last 30 today.....and I did.

Getting all 60 was a walk through the park compared to the AMG Driving Acadamy Special Event which is damn impossible! I'll leave those until last.

I got the stealth cars with my standard edition so I'm going to be having fun with those for a while.
 
Today continued with A after golding B yesterday. I think A was easy compared to B. It took like 20 mins to Gold all. Mini slalom was the only challenging. It took just about 10 tries. I got it when I just floored it all the way.
 
I spent over an hour on IC-1, getting within .050 of a second on most attempts! I eventually golded the whole section and will be going back to A and B to get 7 more gold medals there, from there I will continue on and hopefully join the 60 golds club!
 
Okay I haven't got the time at the moment, but I will make a list over the weekend of those who have got all 60 golds and have provided evidence. 👍
 
Finally finished going back through and getting gold on them all. Seems like the longer ones were much easier to gold. I had the hardest time with the straight line start/stop ones :lol:
Surprising there is no trophy for getting all golds :confused:
 
i'm at 51 golds plus a few golds in the challenges i have the level for. I think i was at 15 when i quit. I'll go for another session to get the final 9 golds tonight. 👍

anybody else find the top gear intermediate a challenge?
