I've completed all the Licences but only about 5 Golds between them all :) What can I say? I am not a master at GT5! I will try and do better but right now I am enjoying the races.

You guys that can get all gold are beast. I don't want any part of you all online, lol. By no means am I great at GT, I am a casual racer. I only managed 12gold,30silver,18bronze. S kicked by butt followed by IA. I can always go back later and try again when I am bored but for now, at least I have my license for every race.

I've got 100% gold on national B and 1 gold so far for national A. I'm working more on the special events. Should I feel ashamed I actually have to redo the stopping challenge (the first one of each license) quite a few times.
100m, 400m, 1000m. LOL.

hey somehow I am halfway there so 30 gold down 30 to go yet I fear how hard I-B on will be IC-10 was insane. took 3 and a half hours but I got her down.

Don't worry, I had to redo those ones the most to get gold, haha.

The tests that stick in my mind were IC 10, IA 10. Damn annoying because you can easily outbrake the A.I but I lost count how many times I got disqualified for slightly touching the A.I.
Not just myself then. I am at 28-2-0 and will be sitting down later attempting to gold IC3 ? (at Indy) and IC10 - getting disqualified when I do not even 'feel' the bump is disappointing, damn AI.

Then I suppose it is off to do Kart racing or something as I am a level short for IB - I was hoping to be able to go straight through all the licenses first.

Some of test are damn hard :) Rewarding challenge to get all gold. I currently have NB,NA and IC in gold.

IC10 was very difficult to get gold.

you guys that golded everything, I have to ask have you done anything else in the game since it came out? I spent 45 minutes on IC-2 I think, the M5 on trial mountain corner, and the best I could do was 16.236 when I needed 16.200 I screamed a four letter curse word so loud and so often that I'm lucky nobody called the police. I'll give myself high blood pressure trying to get golds on some of these. Seriously I get to the point of almost unleashing violence on inanimate objects in the room. You guys are superheroes.

Well i've taken a few photos, had a couple of races online and done some of the specials aswell.

Like I said earlier only IC 10, IA 10 took a bit longer. The rest only took a few attempts. The super licence was really easy and I did all 10 in the space of 2hrs.

So far found them pretty easy, Only one i struggled on abit was the Rome course cause that damn Countach kept bashing into me forcing me to get dq'ed :grumpy:

I was really disappointed that S License was so easy. It was the easiest one by far. The only one I had problem with was S-4 (Tokyo R246). Everything else was gold on first/second try.

I still need to gold I-C/A/B, though. I will probably do that later.

Licenses were easy(except for braking which is a matter of luck). But special events like nurburgring and top gear make up for it.Too much fun.

same here... S-4 was a pain in the ass... for 10 minutes ;)

all gold on B, but i don't see the point spending so much time to get get gold on the rest. sure the reward car for gold may be nice, but i don't think it would be worth the time for me. you don't get anything else in game, or even a trophy for all gold. if anything was trophy worthy in a game all gold on GT licenses is.

Getting all golds is a nice challenge, but more importantly, it teaches you how to be fast in the game... if you take the time to master the techniques you need to gold them all (or at least gold the difficult ones) it will make you a much better driver when it comes to on-line racing and time trials.

Guys I tell ya there is one licence test, which is SO much harder than any else, it's where you drive with a Nissan Sedan on La Sarthe and brake hard at the end of the straight and than the sharp right-turner, believe me, you will spend A LOT of time with it, if you want it gold.

haaaa Gold with my first attempt... not kidding

IB-3 on the other hand....

If you've got a wheel and want a real challenge, try getting golds with traction control off, ABS off, and skid recovery off, and use the clutch pedal. It makes a huge difference in the level of difficulty. I generally turn all of these driver aids off since real race cars don't have them. Managed to get gold in all the A and B license tests so far using these settings (except for the Top Gear test with the Lotus Elise, I could only get bronze with these settings - it is physically impossible to get Gold on this test without turning TC, ABS, and Skid Recovery on since the Lotus is so snappy loose and you have to drive like crazy to pass 11 cars in two laps.).

On IC-2 but i'm one of those people who when i start a test i have to cpmplete it and get gold, only had the game a day but weirdly i can't find the rally races/ endurance ones :S is it me or were there more races on the last games? :L

I haven't tried it without ABS, but I golded the TG Elise event without SR & TC.

Where possible I think you'll find most quick drivers will do the license tests without TC & SR... unfortunately SR is fixed ON for most of the tests.

Rally events are in the 'Special Events'. There don't seem to be any endurance races at this stage.

I cannot agree more with this 👍 Just in the space of the last 3 days, having taken the time to get gold on B, A, IC, IB and IA, it made the S Licence golds that much less of an issue because I'd tackled most of the interesting corners in previous licences and was forced to find a fast way through them to obtain prior gold rewards.

All the best
Maz

Little less than a half of them passed yet. All gold ofc. I think that it's too easy to get gold in license tests. It's easier than it was in gt4 for example. Maybe it will get harder later....
