I think it is very important to know if its dvd9 or not. In other words if the size of dvd is ~4gb or ~8gb (you can put that dvd into pc and see for yourself size).

You never know, more things could be added / changed for the other releases, good or bad! (like the PAL version of GT3 had an extra Acura and no diablo compared to the Japanese version).........

What is wrong with you? The guy has just got Gt4 probably playing it for the vast majority of the day and your more interested in the size of the disk? hell the game is going to be excellent whatever the case. The gameis finished and whatever the size of the disk you are going to buy it anyway.

Hmm well perhaps you've played different games to me. Nearly all of the Japanese games apart from GT : P (Which might be Chinese version I can't remember) that I've got have Japanese only menus with only the occasional odd word I can recognise & of course manufacturer names.

It's important to know if the disc is a DVD9 or not because you can't copy a DVD9 to a PS2-harddisk so easily, a DVD5 is no problem though. And you need a new version of swap magic to play a DVD9 in your PS2.

The game being on a DVD9 can mean waiting for the localised version for a lot of users, that's why this is important.

You (as the avarage user) think this way but not me. Thats why i'll get gt4 sooner than you.Because you will wait for PAL version two or more months...

There are other options around and dvd9 burning is also important....

Im still finding 1080i hard to believe. Im not calling you a liar, but I just cannot grasp the concept that the PS2 has managed to pump a quality game, let alone any game that is able to do 1080i.

Forget the cars, tracks etc. 1080i really does it for me.
