  • AMD did not announce or unveil the Ryzen 3600G at CES 2019.
  • AMD wouldn’t call it the “Ryzen 3600G” in the first place.
  • AMD isn’t charging $199 for the nonexistent Ryzen 3600G.
  • $199 is almost certainly too much for just the console APU.

I got that on my phone this morning. There is so much wrong with it I couldn't stop laughing for a while. Suggesting that an APU that you or I might pay $199 for is the same that Sony would pay is utterly stupid. As for $400 for PS5? I'd revise that upwards quite a bit if I was you.

Another take on it.

I didnt write the article so therefore there is nothing for me to revise . My personal opinion is i dont have a favorite console, but to be honest i would rather support a new comer like the madbox if it is any good

So much nonsense in that article, they sure don't seem to know much about tech.

If rumoured APU 3600G exists with them specs, it's GPU would be too low end to be for a PS5. Graphics performance would be quite a bit below a PS4 Pro. Sony also won't be paying retail money for APUs too. Seems suitable for people who want a system with onboard graphics that can do so gaming on a level above 1050 Ti saving having to buy a separate graphics card.
