Sony's E3 game list...........no GT5

SONY may do some dumb things like not advertise well, but they never fail to take advantage of an E3 expo to make some noise. With SONY having the largest presence at E3 ever, as far as I can tell, I have faith that Amar wasn't misled and we're in for a few treats.

Darnation, the calendar moves slow this time of year...

GT5 is the last remaining game which will get holdouts to buy PS3s, that I'm aware of anyhow.

God of War III has a lot of people interested. If it turns out as good as it looks in the trailers, I think it will shift PS3s

If any of these things show up, it will be big news for the GT franchise:

1. Damage (duh)
2. Weather, time changes, etc.
3. Lamborghini or Porsche
4. Custom liveries, race modifications, editors, online options

And those are just off the top of my head of the most-discussed topics over the past year or so. As I said....even if ONE of these shows up...it will be news, let alone the track and car announcements from the hinted 90+ tracks and 600+ cars. I know a lot of racing sims already have these...but if PD does it, you know it will be grade-A quality, and for the series itself, they would be firsts for certain options.

Also according to Amar's first cryptic post, "all will be revealed no later than E3"...or something of that sort.

I'm 100% confident it will be there....there is no reason it should not be at E3, and as others have said, it would be a HUGE mistake for Sony and PD not to show it.

It will be news even if its a 5 second clip where all we see is a blur of images which vaguely look like a Bugatti at Spa-Fracorchamps.

Well, that's a different issue. I was referring to holdouts, those who insist they won't get a PS3 until (game X) is released. It seems that FFXIII isn't that game anymore, since very few people who are Final Fantasy and JRPG nuts don't get into other genres, in contrast with racing fanatics. I do expect quite a few titles to make buyers grab PS3s, to be sure.
  • Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time
  • Uncharted 2
  • M.A.G.
  • God of War III
  • inFamous
Among others. But since a number of racing gamers JUST play racing games, and by far, the number of gamers on the Playstation platform are Gran Turismo fiends - aren't we all, I know how much importance SONY places on a very visible, impressive GT5. And out by Christmas this year if at all possible.

Sony have shown a bunch of games to the press which are still under NDA, additional suprises are also expected.

If they can keep PSP2/GO under wraps, a game will be no problem.

It will be news even if its a 5 second clip where all we see is a blur of images which vaguely look like a Bugatti at Spa-Fracorchamps.

Would make my day - add 2 second more to the clip, that shows a crashed Lamborghini, at night whilst raining - that would be enough for E3 :)👍

It wouldn't even need to be a video clip....just a blurred picture of what looks like a Veyron, going through what looks like Eau Rouge, at night, in the rain and damaged would be enough...

Just a rumor list, it's nothing to take too serious. It would be awful on Sony's part not to give us some sort of hint about GT5 to keep our appetite under control. Besides, amar212 in his prophecies that we would see something at E3, and I have alot of faith in his words.

Too bad I sold GT5P for $13 bucks...:P

I think it will be a surprise. KY told that "all will be done as a suriprise".

I wouldn't be at all suprised if PD announced GT5 will recieve a worldwide release in November '09.

Not only that, but GT Mobile will be a launch title for the PSP GO!, and compatible in some way with GT5.

All pretty much obtainable from Amar's post.

well done on being able to read
The PSP Go! and GT Mobile news comes from places like 1Up rumours of which started months back on various podcasts, the GT5 2009 release comes from a former Sony finance insider who revealed GT5 was down for an '09 release on SCEE's internal release schedule.

When I posted as such earlier this year I recall being called out as some kind of wind-up with most seeming incredulous to the idea a GT5 release could be that early in Europe.

There are sources other than Amar's appreciated updates, they shouldn't be dismissed out of hand.

maybe sony gonna add more games later " next week" including gt5

i mean this isnt a final list pre e3 announcement

this thread is ****ing ridiculously stupid.... grow some balls, go out and get a girl friend, and stop posting stupid info relating to GT5.

I have some advice for you too. Grow up :)

I can't say that I am particularly surprised at the lack of GT5 at E3 but I am not ranting and raving at people who are worried.

I suggest if reading this winds you up, then perhaps you need to take a break, you know go out, get a girlfriend and all. ;)

Let's keep things civil yes. 👍

Now a bit more on topic. I wouldn't be surprised if GT5 is Sony's so called ace up their sleeve. Even if it isn't, then TGS will be almost certain. I can wait.

They should really rename this thread.

Just "Sony's E3 game list"

No need to go negative right off the bat.

I'm hoping it's present at least in some fashion, no matter how small or large.

Just something to satiate the "need to know" basis.

Journalists have already been shown first part Sony games that are embargoed until E3, i.e they aren't on any public list. There are also games journalists, or at least all but a small handfull, have not been shown.

I doubt GT5 will show up on any list prior to E3, you may also see games like Twisted Metal and the new team ICO developed game as suprises.

It's spilling the biggest cup of info ever placed on the table of the GT5 forum, when will it be revealed.
