Friday night we will be holding a Southern Sliderz open night.

There will be a variety of tracks and we're encouraging any drifters from around Australia to join in & slide with some of our team members.

New members & anyone interested in joining the team, this is a perfect opportunity for you!

Spread the word & keep an eye out for the lobby around 8pm friday night.

Cheers
Ben

Jimmy here. Hopefully have some Southern Sliders guys in the Tournament that will be taking place. This tournament will have proper organisation by a group of friends and also chosen D-Max members so it will no just fade away guys:)

Any tips for wheel drifting, my theory is just race on comfort hards and try to do fast laps. Not working the best, Any advice is appreciated.

Btw do you use clutch and gear stick or paddles??

I use the clutch but if I'm going to battle someone who I know will be a tuff challange like stav I use the paddles.

Hope I can get some of my team to make it.

How many guys do you have alvin?

I just checked your thread and it looks like your talking to yourself lol some quadruple mega posts going down in there:sly:

Would be good to see a few of your guys join in on friday night:)

What would you call your approach, like trying to stay in the middle of the road, out in out, going slow in and powersliding out??

A lot of my guys don't huse GTP so I'll just send them messages on PSN.

I tend to use the normal racing line and have my cars slide out at high rpm. But I do enter with a scandenavion flick and sometimes with a clutch kick.:)

I was in the same situation as you a few years ago when I started to get into drifting with a DFGT, just throw the car around the corner and try to get a feel of how much countersteer you need throughout that corner, your best bet is to also try and master one type of iniation into drift e.g. feint or e-brake.

I'll try to give you a few tips if I can get on tomorrow, open lobby sounds good and I'm interested in this competition :)

Yes, open night.
*fist pump*

I like how everyone in the D-Max competition has different shades of blue, want to just choose one colour chip to stick by?

Sounds like someone had their thinking cap on. haha
But seriously sounds like a idea.

Honestly I think Brilliant Blue is the best bet for a team colour, buying an S15 shouldn't create much of a hole in our pockets.

Honestly we look a bit idiotic if we all have different shades of blue, we need to stick to one paint chip, regardless if it looks good or not.
