first, on topic: What Spain did, is going to cost more people thier lives. That's undeniable. And to even say that terrorists won't try that here, please! How nieve can you be! Have you not learned from 9/11!! also i'll refer you to my post in the Iraq pictures thread.
Now, about the prisoners:
There IS NO EXCUSE for what those dumb bastards did. I can't believe i'm seeing people try to down play it as 'not that bad'! What they did was WRONG, no-one argues that, but what makes it worse, is they did it wearing an American uniform. When you put on the American uniform, you now represent all of America and what we are supposed to stand for: which is clearly described in our Bill of Rights. When i put on MY uniform, i'm proud to wear it, because i know that I stand for something greater than myself. Freedom, liberty, that every person has basic rights that should not be violated. We are disciplined, and go through fair and just procedures to deal with criminals, prisoners, ect.
What these few soldiers have done, shames me, and brings Dishonor to the Army and America. Everyone involved in the incident should be tried to the highest degree. They should be given the maximum punishment. They just cost us the lives of more young, brave and HONORABLE Americans.
