A mistake?

It really wasn't his fault. Kimi was going on the left and then Wilson blocked the way so he turned right and there was Pizzonio (in his last race :D) so I can't see where Kimi made a mistake :odd:...

Yeah, I don't there's much hope for Pizzonia, especially now Webber's scored points.

I've missed the race, unfortunately - I taped 3 hours of the wrong channel - d'oh!

Good to see De Matta get points, too, and Firman - go Jordan!

Now if only that Da Matta would be a little more aggressive.. He should've taken Ralf dammit...

Yeh and Alonso was there the whole time despite the Renaults not thrashing round Barca everyday for the last 4 months due to their opting for the extra friday practice thus sacrificing time at this track. The Regie is looking strong this year how long before Alonso gets to the top step of the podium?

Alonso did a awesome job in that race and is without a doubt my driver of the race. It was great to see him catch Michael like that. :)

Plus Webber, De Matta and Firman all did an excellent job too. (so did Wilson in the first part of the race)

c'mon Ralf drove a bloody good race under immence pressure from Da matta

Alonso is definately a driver of the future (present?) with the stunning drive he put in here at Spain

Guess Ron is not gonna be a happy camper ATM

Well done to Mark Webber as well for the race, first points for Jag for the season, and most certainly Pizzonia's last drive

one last thing

GO MICHAEL

Its a mistake, he should know when the Minardis swevre hard to the left. Guess he's down on experience.

Ralf got it all wrong this time. Smokes his tyres on almost every lap.

I still have to disagree. How he could have known that Pizzonia was there?
Wilson did a late start and Räikkönen was right behind when Wilson goes to left of course Räikkönen tries to pass from right then...

I think many others would have made the same thing that Räikkönen did.

It's easy for us to be critical. I'm always surprised that drivers manage to avoid a stationary car at all.

I think it's likely that Kimi thought Wilson's swerve was an attempt to block the pass, hence he went the other way.

I for one am glad Da Matta got into the points. Maybe he will be able to continue to do so in the future. I almost thought he had Ralf there at the end of the race but a sixth place finish is good enough for me.

Common... wtf happened out there with McLaren?! A comeplete disappointment, and one very unlucky weekend for McLaren. All through the weekend, McLaren was doing crappy, qualifying, practice, etc. Then the actual race just topped it all off... But hopefully they'll be able to get their points back once their new car is released. :)

Alonso did really well this race. Especially since Ferrari just got their new car (another disappointment, might I add).

Webber did well this time too. I was expecting Ralf to do better than Montoyo, but that didn't happen. Fairly close though.

Maybe.

Damn Ralf. Matta should get fifth.
He deserves it.

Has there ever been an F1 race where nothing has gone wrong to any car? I mean, when will we see who is truly fastest, when they can all complete the race against eachother.

Rarely.
