That was fun. Still got people to race with even at the end. Good fun everyone and thanks to @El_Beardo for hosting and setting up. Need to set up my heater next time to stop my hand freezing. :dunce:

Anyone up for 5 laps of the Nord in the Sambabus, unlimited tuning?

Great fun racing with you guys @Raptor013 and @MaxAttack

That battle in the second stint through to the end was great. The different tyre strategies really showed.

THAT WAS SO AWESOME!!!! THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR TAKING PART!!!

Congratulations to the Podium 3, you guys were flying!!!

Also apologies to who ever I bumped whilst lapping them in the final sector, I think your tyres were gone and you had a huge tank slapper and I had nowhere to go, hopefully didn’t affect your race too much 👍.

Just waiting for the results now @El_Beardo - who won??? Team Evo or Team Scooby???

Great racing everyone, really enjoyed being a part of this. So big thanks to @El_Beardo for organising it. And congrats to @VulcanSpirit @Drex124 on the podiums too

Special mention to @EDK , he did the set up work and made the WRX a dream to drive, and an absolute monster on the brakes / corner entry especially, this win was mainly down to him so big thankyou owed 👍 I will take pictures and share the setup in a moment.

As a testament to it there was a 32.9 in there in qualifying but I got blocked on that lap unfortunately.

Anyway, great race, and GG guys

Making a tune for the fastest guy in the field is always easy. Congrats on the win, and happy you liked the tune.

Great racing today everyone, that was a lot of fun! Congrats to @Philtaylor17 on the win, and to @VulcanSpirit and @Drex124 on the podium finishes, well done fellas!

Thanks to @El_Beardo for hosting, it was a really fun race man! I hope you have another one soon. :cheer:
No, thank you for that tune! It worked splendidly throughout and allowed me to lap consistently while saving tyres and enough fuel to reduce my pitstop times.

Congratulations @Philtaylor17 for a crushing victory, and to @Drex124 for his third-place run. Also great to see @Kermit_2142 fighting hard on Softs; as I was focused on getting the undercut, and was mindful about the total points on offer, I was prepared to let him through anyway so he had the best chance of getting a podium.

You might have seen towards the end of practice/qualifying that I switched to Mediums and made it as far as Turn 7, but for some reason the game decided to put me back on Softs before the start. I didn't notice this until partway through the first lap, but in the end I'm glad that happened as otherwise I wouldn't have broken away from @R_Goldstreiff so easily.

That was me, I just hit the marbles and was more or less just trying to tidy up and avoid you as I knew you were coming. All good. It was a very fun race even getting lapped.

Team effort  - thats why I ran EDK on the side of the car

Here is the setup, adjust rake depending on what tyre your running predominantly, whats perfect for mediums ends up with with more front wear on the softs due to the grip, in the race I ran a middle ground for balance.

Great win, that was awesome.

What an awesome race that was - thanks to everyone who came out!

I was really happy to have a few guys close to my pace and some actual racing to be done. I was backing up a few cars through the early running, felt like it really took a couple of laps to work the mediums in and I hadn't practiced them at all.

@Redneckchef and @Raptor013 were my targets come the first stop but once everything shaked out Raptor had the advantage on us, I think he really nailed the strategy so props to him. I know I had a bit of contact with him in the third sector, I can't recall exactly what happened but I apologise if I had any major role in that.

In the end a straight battle lined up with about ten laps to go, and after a couple of trades in some lovely clean battling, and a setback of a second as the traffic came through and two battles became intertwined, I managed to get by and was consistently lapping a bit quicker so came home P12 which I'm very happy with.

I was slow in the grand scheme but keeping the car on the track for some 90 minutes and actually managing to battle and pass cars made this race feel like a return to form.

@El_Beardo Thanks for organising this race, was great fun and really enjoyed the racing with everyone .

Was surprised I qualified where I did, definitely higher than expected, especially given the fast people that were in this. Knew my race pace was different, so didn't want to battle too much in the early stages, not wanting to hold people behind me up and ruin the flow of both my own race and those around me. Struggled to find a rhythm early on with the mediums, including a scary moment went I missed my braking point coming into Dunlop, nearly dive-bombing @Pigems in the process, though backed out in time. Took us a few laps, but eventually found my flow, and enjoyed a nice battle with @Kermit_2142 as we became draft-partners down the main straight in the 1st stint. Medium-Medium-Soft was my strategy, and I'm happy I went with it, don't think I could have done much more pace-wise; bar a couple of minor mistakes, nearly closing in on @R_Goldstreiff at the end to finish a fantastic P7.

Subaru was a blast to drive, the Praiano tune helped massively, and with some subtle tweaks to suit my driving style, it helped me improve my pace and get into a rhythm compared to without it. Subaru liked to kick it's tail out if you weren't careful, which the drifter in me at heart loved, but in a 250km race I don't think my tyres would have agreed .

Thx for the race everybody! It was really fun. I was very happy with getting 3rd in quali (with the help of @Kermit_2142 slipstream =)) and had hopes of getting somewhere in the top 5 but I was a bit too hot in the opening stint and spun, which basically ended those hopes. But @Pigems and @Michelin Man and me were really close in the end, it was great. However, as I said, I should have just kept behind you @Pigems in the opening stint and we both would have been better off. Ah well...

Congrats to @Philtaylor17 , @VulcanSpirit & @Drex124 on their podium finishes. Also, big congrats to @VulcanSpirit, @Kermit_2142 & @Pigems for representing the top three Team Evo drivers. And thx for hosting this race @El_Beardo =)

Made a few race photos and shared them in the GT Community. Here are few as well:

All good @Redneckchef the contact didn't affect my race. I know I made some light contact with a few guys, including going into Turn 1 at the start. The racing was certainly fierce throughout the field with some great battles from what I could see from the radar map whilst on the straights but it looked as though we all gave each other enough space so as not to cause accidents.
