I just thought of something, what if you raced the 78-7B and the XJR-9, aren't they both from 1988 and competed in the same championship?

The 787B won Le Mans in 1991, I don't remember what year the original 787 competed.

Awesome new track :), thx PD!

I always had the hope for an oval which will be longer than the old test course ( which wasn't long enough to test 400+ cars :D ).

And the location is pretty nice too :).

Those satellite arrays expand the atmosphere in some strange ways. Can't explain really. Gotta find proper ambient music for the track, for the upcoming week. 👍👍👍 PD.
p.s. I wonder what those containers hold on that PDI Line ship? ;)
Hey, thanks for reminding me!

I was hoping for a really long track with good scenery, but I wasn't expecting this. I tweeted Kaz months ago with a link that had an article like this http://www.sub5zero.com/lists/top-10-best-driving-roads-world
and I asked him if it were possible to ever try replicating a real life road like one of those.

Let's hope the length of this track (even though it's an oval) signifies the coming of a lengthy Original race track in the future. It, certainly, doesn't hurt the chances.

I still think this should be included for free in the update.

I mean, it's just an oval :/ Not the most exciting thing ever.
I really don't understand why a lot of people are so excited about this track!I will
buy it just because i love this game:)

I think the video is also a good demonstration of drive the car, don't let the force feed back drive you.

I thought we are driving the other way around so that we take left turns, not rights. Maybe it there is a Reverse Route X.

Anyway, It'll be epic with with time change. Imagine racing down the strip with a Fiat 500 in day time, going through the tunnel and ending up at night. :dopey:

I will be buying to support PD, much the same with previous DLC's £4 for 1 track is a bit much especially when you think its just a straight but when you stop and look at the detail they put in for a whole 30km of track then £4 isnt all that bad.

The detail ^^^ 👍 That requires more work than what people are thinking, "but it's just an oval".

Yes.
And they want to charge us for this?

+1
I think you're paying for the speed (and other) testing feature rather than the track
👍

£4 or 4 euro's may not seem like alot but if 20 million people pay for that then subtract the amount it actually cost to do and pd makes a cool 79 million for making what looks like a straight that everybody will put a veyron or x2010 or 11 on just to see how fast it can go what a waste of money. I will only buy it if they give cars with it as well, its just a ridiculous money making scheme when they should be concentrating on getting GT6 perfect before launch in 2025.

A bit ridge racer isn't it and what is it with PD and tunnels. Lol.

i noticed that yesterday most of there original tracks have tunnels and more that one too! * grand valley , trail mountain, ssr5 ,deep forest .. autumn ring * under the bridge* i guess tunnels are just cool and they do give the game that nice touch to it

I wonder if their will be any other layouts besides an oval, and straightaway.
But I really like the looks of this map, some people might call it boring to race on, but I think it would actually be really fun to go online, and cruise around on with some friends, really can't wait to get this track, and see it at night!

From what we have seen of it the majority of the features are copied and pasted along the track.

like? the whole other side your along a ship yard..
and i also noticed there's a block of barrier from another road halfway through the video =D

It will cost 6€ :grumpy:

The “Speed Test Course Pack” will also become available at that time for $3.99 (USD) / €3.99 / £3.19, which includes the Route X test course and an apparent new “Speed Test” mode that allows you to exactly measure “things like your mile, quarter-mile, acceleration, and g-force”.
