Special/Ultimate Parts

Yay I'm in the special parts club. 4 star roulette from daily mileage. Rods and pistons for the Ferrari F8 Tributo. Not tooooooo baddd.

Haven't unlocked it yet, but there's an S Supercharger option for the C3 Corvette (and other muscle cars presumably).
Excellent! This is a new one on me 😃

Another for the list 👍🏻

It’s so cool that we’re still discovering new S parts. I wonder if this one has been there from the start…

I saw it in settnings from day one for both Corvette C3 and Pontiac firebird transam

I’ve been wondering when I’ll ever get to use the ‘4 Wheel Steering’ section in Detailed Settings 🤔 I’m assuming it’s something that’ll be used on cars that have it stock. Skyline GTRs for example (HICAS). But I’ve got a 32, 33 and 34 and unless I’m missing something obvious that feature just isn’t relevant to those cars.

Anyone got any ideas? Is there perhaps a special part out there that you need to be able to the access 4 Wheel Steering function? I haven’t seen anyone talking about it at all 🤔

The first thing that came to mind when i saw this was the 4 wheel steering toyota that was on Gran Tursimo 4. But theres no sign of that car in this game yet. I dont know, but im also buying a lot of stuff so ill let yall know if i come across the function

Doesn't the 991 GT3 RS have 4-wheel steering? I could be mistaken, but it might be worth a check.

Obtaining those special parts is something that PD needs to fix seriously. Yes, they should stay rare but more possible to get.

I'm dreaming about installing Titanium Con Rods and Pistons to my "Mid Night tune" mkIV Supra, but chances that I will receive that part even if I play the game everyday for whole year is almost zero...

Lets do some math: 365 daily workouts x ~20% chance of 4-star ticket x 2% chance of special part = 1,46 special parts per year.

There are at least 9 types of parts, lets assume best scenario and equal odds distirbution. So 1,46 x (1/9) = 0.162 specific special part per year

So it will take me about 6 years (1/0.162) to get titanium bits for ANY car, yet I still need to hope that it will be a part for my Supra so it pushes 1-year chances into relative zero percent... RIP my dreams:(

I agree, they could do 3 parts of daily workout milstones with the option to earn 3 roulettes per day, they could also make events where we could win those exclusive parts

I reckon they should just add every roulette-exclusive part into the tuning shop. It kinda annoys me knowing none of my vehicles can ever actually reach their maximum potential because a few parts are locked behind roulettes.

I’ve decided I’m going to remove ‘Stage 6 Weight Reduction’ from the list. I took it in good faith initially, thinking it might also have been a typo from the forum member that submitted it.

However, as time has gone on there’s been no other mention of other people coming across Stage 6 WR, and I can’t even find the post that contributed it originally. So it’s fair to assume it was a mistake.

So, it’s going, but of course if someone does prove its existence it’ll go back in.

Out of curiosity, I'd like anyone who unlocks titanium conrods for a car to fully upgrade the car and see how much HP the rods add compared to a regular maxed out car.

The disappointing thing for me about these parts being so rare is that it'll be impossible to have a completely maxed out car. If a car's got Bore Up S, Stroke Up S, Titanium Conrods and Pistons, a Carbon Propshaft, an Ultra-High RPM Turbo, and Stage 5 weight reduction as an option... the chances of getting all parts is near enough to impossible, no matter how many days you play for.

Which is why I really hope PD adds these parts to the tuning shop eventually. I've heard lots of people complain that maxed out cars are less powerful than in previous games, and this might just be the main reason.

Few things ive discovered-

Some parts are obviously grayed out but obtainable "S" parts. (Ex.ultra high turbo)

SOME may NOT be grayed out, or even on tuning sheet, but still be obtainable.(bore S, cam S)

The carbon drive shaft it greyed out for many vehicles, so maybe can be wone for every vehicle? ( have won it for nova, hard to tell difference other than snappy throttle response as we all assumed)

If you win an S cam, or bore up, and have already cammed/bored max built the vehicle, it does STACK AND ADD more hp/tq (Varies on vehicle)
and will then show installed on tuning sheet.

Parts ive gotten besides 2500" credits-every ticket

Scirocco bore up S (really nice, super sleeper!)
(2033cc<2132cc/488<516hp/389<413 ft lb)
*-Maxed numbers with high turbo

Crown athlete high lift cam S (596<638hp/+2ftlb)

911 gt3 rs Stage 5 weight reduction (2504>2440lbs.)

Chc nova carbon driveshaft
(nice throttle respose??)

have screenshots on system, believe they were all 4 star rewards. Seems to be the best. I know Id rather have 4 star than the 5 and six 😆

Fantastic, very informative!
Those power boosts are quite exciting. Makes me wonder just how much more power those cars could make with titanium conrods on top of all the other upgrades. The Crown might even get close to 700hp...

I must admit to finding this all frustrating. I have 2 interesting parts that I am sure some of you would love, but I don’t own the relevant cars and nor do I intend to. In FIFA22 my son plays FUT and there is a real live functioning auction system to trade players. It would be a great add on to GT7 if you could trade parts. Here are 2 I want to offload.

So... It would seem the ultra-high turbo for the RX-7 bumps the power straight up from 500 to almost 600 hp. Which is quite ridiculous.

I was gonna get all excited about it being even more powerful with titanium rods when I realised... it's a rotary lol

This is excellent! Thank you for taking the time to share your findings 😊

I feel like the S parts are going to be a really interesting part of the game as they introduce new parts with updates over time. And the GT community’s knowledge of their application will really benefit from contributions like this.

Please keep us posted when you have any more info to share. And thanks again!

Today is the first time I won special part from 4-star ticket since I bought the game (17.03) and played every day...

Bore Up S for BAC Mono'16

Stock > Bore Up > Special Bore Up

PP: 641,5 > 642,6 > 644,8
Displacement (ccm): 2488 > 2550 > 2674
HP: 309 > 312 > 318
Nm: 307,7 > 310,7 > 316,9

I just fully tuned an 86 GRMN recently, so I am honestly a little jealous that you lucked out on the final power upgrade for it. Hopefully PD lets these upgrades be purchased in the Tuning Shop one day, since there's no reason to lock them behind roulettes.

According to this video, the titanium conrods for the MP4-12C increase the power by 43 hp, up to 900.

Seems to be the average, EVERY S PART I have been lucky to receive, bout 25/50 hp,

For the cam, bore, and titanium rods, I dont think the S' turbo and superchargers would be that low, any one with ultra high confirm the power differences?

I’d argue there is a reason to keep the special parts exclusive to the roulette. And it’s just that - to keep them exclusive. Same as the engine swaps. Neither would feel special when a few hours at Spa, Le Mans or Sardegna would pretty much guarantee you enough funds to access them (or Tokyo with that toy car, if you have no soul). Look how easy it is to grind for a 10M car in Legendary. There are countless players who have all manner of eye-wateringly expensive cars in their GT garage. So there’s nothing special about that. The same would apply to special parts if it was only a matter of money.

Now whether PD need to work on the way the roulette works in terms of the chances a player has to win a special part or engine swap, and whether they also need to vastly expand on the number of different special parts and swaps available, that’s another thing entirely.

PD were right to bring back some unicorn features. Special parts feel special, because they’re so elusive. There wouldn’t be threads like this if these parts were available for purchase. There’d be no mystique. It’s just a shame they’re so sparse in number, and it’s a shame the roulette system itself seems so deliberately skewed towards delivering the most disappointing prize of the few flashed under our noses.

I think it’s a case of the reality falling well short of PD’s vision. I’m sure this isn’t exactly how Kaz imagined it. And I’m sure that’s the case because the game got kicked onto sale before it was anything like the all-encompassing experience we were led to anticipate.

I remain optimistic. Just.

I would be excited to get some special parts, i have played everyday for since the game come out on march 4 , the only special parts i have got is the weight reduction stage 5 for the tesla witch i don’t care about, and the Ford Mustang gt 2015 engine swap, i want those special parts so bad, i am afraid i will never get them, but even without them most cars seems at least more powerful than in gt sport,

but its shame that we proably never get a maxed out car imagine get Bore up s stock up s, camshaft s for a car that has that availble would proably boost its power quite a lot, we might never know if there is any other hidden parts, or if anything more will be added with updates, engine parts are confirmed for updates witch got me excited but so far we have not seen any new or we don’t that they have added any, its not exactly like we can see it, i would still like to know all parts availble, it feels like they are way too obtainable at the moment, hopefully something they will change in future, i don’t mind that they are a bit exclusive but make more ways to earn them,

Well that’s exactly the point of this thread. To list all the special parts as the community discovers them. Head back to the first post and have a read if you haven’t already 🙂

Now obviously it’s impossible to say that our list is a definitive categorisation of all special parts available in the game. It relies on the contribution of players. But it’s something. And I’m committed to updating that list as long as we have contributions from players discovering new special parts.

In terms of updates, there have been a few new engine swaps added to the game through updates, for example the R35 GTR Nismo engine. It’s possible we’ve also had some special parts added, but such is the nature of their scarcity and the fact we’re relying on players seeing this thread and telling us what they find, it might take time for those parts to land on the list. In the official notes covering future updates it did specifically mention “new parts to swap” (or words to that effect). So there’s every reason to believe PD are looking to introduce more special parts as the game evolves.

ETA: Just a heads-up, guys. I’ve asked Famine if this thread can be moved out of Car Tuning and into the main section. I’m hoping it gets a little more exposure and we can build and refine the list with more contribution. So just bear that in mind, it could be moving.
