In the game itself (not remote racing), how do you view what other players around the world are doing with your bob's?

I know there is a log to check results, but is there any way to go to one of my drivers, see that someone else is using him, and then go view the race he's currently in?

In fact I dont even know in the game that anyone is using my drivers until I try to receive their rewards, when it tells me they are in use.

You can see who is using your driver using the "Log" function under "Community" while you are on your profile. It will say something like:
"J.Doe has joined the race being hosted by Username" when the race starts and will say "J.Doe came in 1 place in the race hosted by Username" when the race is over.

You cannot view the race as it is happening like you can on your own PS3. The only insight you can have into a live race is through the GT website which will show pretty much the same info as "Live Timing" but without the tiny rendered screen. Which I guess you could technically do on your PS3 but not within the game itself.

Where is that found? Ive never seen anything like that on the site. The log is there, same thing thats on the PS3, but nothing to see any details of races that Im not controlling.

After you've identified who is using your driver, on the GT website, go to their profile page. If the race is currently running, where you would normally click to set up your own remote race will be the option to watch their race. It will pop open a window which you can't close, resize, etc, and you can only have one open. What I normally do is open my own window/tab with a url that looks like this:

https://us.gran-turismo.com/us/gt5/user/USERNAME/remoterace

Replace the country and username (case sensitive) with the appropriate names and you should be set. It lags from time to time so the race may have already finished but the site may say there are anywhere between 0 and 2 laps to go.
