Nice, my 8.112 can still be improved with a little suspension tweaks.. The 06 is my baby and I will put as much time as needed to stay #1 or #2.:D:tup:

Hey that's a really brilliant time, I'm testing suspension too but haven't found an improvement yet I'm sure it's somewhere and I'll keep trying looking. So far I'm stuck at 8:117. Can't really better that time yet. Might try some different wheels.

I had to mess with my trans to get that time, although with all this suspension talk, it might even get into the 8.000's. :D Also, I'm presuming your doing a timed launch? Tell me what RPM your trying to launch at, and I'll give you some pointers.

Out of laziness I just plugged my 05 tune into the 06 number for number, same trans and suspension, ran 8.118, haven't experimented or messed with it though .

Hehe, FYI, all my times that I have are all based on the same general transmission tune with a few minor tweaks to the flip and such. Most of the GT's are similar in the transmission department, although the suspension seems to be different like Wraith pointed out.

So your saying you made changes to rear springs? I used the same flip aswell.

Think it works for bsl full throttle launches. I can't improve my max spring rate time on a timed launch, I can match it with slightly softer springs but not as consistently.

I tend to agree. With tweaked softer suspension, we can't improve on our max spring rate times on a time launch run. The general consensus is with excessive testing that we've done we think tweaked springs only help for full throttle bsl runs. But i'll carry on testing with tweaked softer springs on manual timed runs to see if I can somehow get that extra .002 that we seemingly loose. It may work for some cars and not others.

Not sure if you know this or not but we can't see your picture.

This is interesting, I just got home so I'll start some testing on the 06.
