You can't rule out a spelling or grammar error totally, because there are a lot of people who don't speak English as first language, like me.
But most of those people try to write as correct as possible.

But the people who write like the quote in the first post here, should get some kind of warning, because it's clear they do it on purpose.

What about this?

Taken from the GTP, rules and terms of service.

* No slang words that promote laziness, ie; "r", "u", "plz", etc.

* Half decent grammar is expected. Use of capital letters
starting sentences is looked upon favorably. Spelling
half decently is also encouraged.

Do you know how many people actually read the TOS and AUP or whatever else it is???

I might take up your advice on this Jordan, but with the amount of people who do 'break' the TOS in this way, and with everybody clicking that link, wouldnt it get annoying on the mods side??

Well, it might get a bit annoying if everyone started to use that feature, but the mods are in place to help and aid in these situations where rules and terms have been broken. And it's part of there duties to respond to these in an appropriate manner.
So, if the mod team were to get flooded with these issues, they would take the necesarry actions with the members in question and then the problem would become less and less. So then, by the mods doing there jobs effectivly, the mods will lessen there long term work loads.

Also, Jordan has put these rules in place to make GTP as good as it possibly can be. I dont think that he would mind much at all to see that someone was using the "report to moderators" feature to report issues that break some of the stated rules here at GTP. I would like to think that Jordan would relish the fact that members are reporting things that are offensive and don't adhere to Jordans writen rules. It makes his job easier I'm sure.

It doesn't matter whether you read the rules or not - you still have to abide by them. And no, I would not find it annoying to enforce the rules.

So, if I were to report 3 or 4 thousand messages, you wouldn't find it annoying?

Interesting...
Yes, I would find 3 or 4 thousand messages annoying, but I don't expect on getting that many reports.

And you won't.

Let's let meme and km use 'gramer' in their form and not become spelling and punctuation purists. Members like Jordan, Klos, Giles, vat_man, and neon_duke can act as examples for spelling and punctuation, but let's not get totally carried away.

Oh really?

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm too lazy to click 'report moderator' that many times.

BTW, has anyone ever reported one of my posts? Do moderators keep a running tally on who has the most reported posts?

[insert paranoid smiley here]

What a moron. Seriously. Just stupid.

I can't fathom the stupidity. If your stupidity was energy, it would run a ****ing nuclear power plant.
