Spinning AI

The ai has always been my biggest concern when talking about damage. You think they would improve it but come on, GT has been out since '98. Every new version talks about improved ai, yet it is always the same idiotic trane that only screws up on a schedule. Just the other day I ran a 30 lap race at Daytona Road in a F40. I set the ai at 35 so I could just swamp the competition (as if you where going to take a F40 to you average track day). Every time I ran across this red Elise, he would be in the dirt. Now how is that realistic? What venue would let a driver like that on the course? Then if you factor in all the times the ai came blasting back out on the track nailing you then would never be able to afford new cars. The damage costs would be astronomical. Heck, I'd go bankrupt. Sorry to rant.

I think you can't wreck them because then to many people would cheat. Plus they don't want GT to ever be used as a battlefield game.
I don't worry about spinning the AI, because I'm not a cheat. All I'd like is AI that drive respectably, not driving into walls, in the dirt, crooked lines, improper lines, and my favorite, the chunk braking down from a high speed at Fuji. You know, when they slam the brakes down from 180 to 80, and then approach the corner at 80, then slam the brakes again to get down to cornering speed, and still sometimes go off?

I know they can't be fast enough, to many people of to little skill play. Unless they have a difficulty option:idea:

I always hated that.:ouch:

Now that is an idea.👍
