This is getting spooky, my ps3 has frozen twice in the past week also, had to hard reset. This has never happened ever since I've owned it, I'm guessing this last gt6 update is wonky?
Back up your GT6 file FergMik cause you might be right! Ever since update 1.12 I started noticing all of this problems... my other games won't make me re-start my PS3 or freeze on me.

I already created a backup file in my USB flash drive

Ok, gentlemen.
Four days left.

So let's go over some basic stuff.
1 Car tuned
2 PS3 data backed up
3 Internet connection good
4 GT6 Cache cleared
5 PS3 browser cookies cleared.
6 Blu Ray lens cleaner used
7 PS3 Inbox messages cleaned up.
8 GT6 disc removed and wiped gently with soft cloth and beer breath.

9 Am I on tarkus1 Friend's List. Check your FR list. tarkus1 says he only has 14.

You have more than me. I often get down to 5 figures but once you've got Red Bull open you can just go & win fast money whenever you need some.

I have 725,242 right now.
I might more money than you but I got no cars :banghead:

Team Vodka Official Press Release:

In closed training today we had some steps forward .....and also some reversals. Team Vodka is pleased with the weather conditions for driving, as well as it being ideal for sleeping with windows open etc... Many teams today focus much on the mechanical end of things... Here at Team Vodka we feel "driver availability" can and should also be a priority as well! The fall weather we feel suits our driver's sleeping habits and this we feel is a positive for alert and responsive driving behavior.
Although most of the morning was spent with the medical team dealing with "dehydration like symptoms". As is our practice, Team Vodka stands by its decision to have its team dinner a few days prior to race day.
We have logged a respectable 1:17.xxx and we feel very comfortable with this result... We must unfortunately report that our tire sponsor has dropped us due to their sponsorship being "not cost effective". Although we respect their decision, it is our official statement that we believe that if you can't make a tire that can squeal for 1minute straight that maybe you shouldn't be making fking tires at all... we're just saying... end quote....
We do feel that we shall be able to find tire sponsor in time for Thursday's race.
Our driver wishes to inform you that he will be at Malone's Bar and Grill from 5-midnight this evening posing for pictures and available to enjoy his fans.
We are also required to relay a driver's statement according to our driver's contract paragraph 9 section 4 sentence 4 that:
"this race is mother f___g bulll**** and they all know it... I'm six foot mother f____g four and my head sticks out the ___damn top of the freaking car... and not only is this annoying and loud its probably some sort of freaking wind resistance fking disadvantage.... so fk them and all their stupid tricks to keep us down... like always... we will rise up and promote freedom and equality and liberty and sexual freedom and rights for women of all legal ages"

We apologize for whatever that means...
please enjoy a photo from today's practice session

Clean Racing

Who is driving the wrong way?!

Alright, probably the toughest of all races will be run tomorrow night.
Three things will be on everyone's mind.
1. Great qualifying session.
2. Great start
3. The first corner.

You can almost compare this race to an Formula 1 race.

Passing(cleanly) will be tough. If you think you can make a pass, you better pull it off cleanly.
There are too many drivers around you who may try it too and screw it up for everyone.

The leaders will have the toughest job as everyone will be chasing them.
So plan your stops accordingly and wisely. Even it means coming in one lap earlier. The trade off.

A clean traffic free race ahead of you.

Mistake, make just one....and like in Formula One. Your race is over.

The track will open up at 7:45 PMEST. Use it to get warmed up.
Qualifying will begin at 8:00 PMEST.

^ what he said....
also I feel this track has perhaps the most set driving line of our recent main events...
if you're not on your lines you better have position to take me off mine...

I feel like this race could be like an extended vacation with a fun group of friends...
sounds like a good idea on paper...
but at the end of it we're all going to want to kill each other....
